5.FAQ of Cold Rolled Steel

We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:

1.How about your company?

A world class manufacturer & supplier of castings forging in carbon steel and alloy steel,is one of the large-scale professional investment casting production bases in China, consisting of both casting foundry forging and machining factory. Annually more than 8000 tons Precision casting and forging parts are exported to markets in Europe,America and Japan. OEM casting and forging service available according to customer’s requirements.

2.How to guarantee the quality of the products?

We have established the international advanced quality management system, every link from raw material to final product we have strict quality test;We resolutely put an end to unqualified products flowing into the market. At the same time, we will provide necessary follow-up service assurance.

3. How long can we receive the product after purchase?

Usually within thirty working days after receiving buyer’s advance payment or LC. We will arrange the factory manufacturing as soon as possible. The cargo readiness usually takes 15-25 days, but the shipment will depend on the vessel situation.

Q:Movies- Conan: What is the riddle of steel?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Movies- Conan: What is the riddle of steel? . Yea, so I just saw the old Conan movie with Arnold. Good movie, but I still don't get it. What IS the riddle of steel?? I get that like from the begining Conan's dad is like telling him a story about Crom and giants, and people got steel once Crom killef the giants. Then, later on...
Q:why is ships made of steel?
also add to answers above (now below), zincs are mounted on the hull and shaft to draw the electrolysis to them instead of the hull and are easily replaced by a competent diver
Q:TRAGUS PIERCINg?!Stainless Steel?!?
Ttitanium is better.
Q:steel protective helmets for soldiers ?
They used to wear entire steel suits of armor in the middle ages. They stopped wearing the armor with the invention of reliable firearms, but steel helmets have been around since then. Before that, they wore iron or bronze helmets. Some armies went to a soft cap through the mid 1800s until fragmentary type artillery rounds appeared. Then helmets started coming back again. WWI was the big return.
Q:What makes Steel stronger than Iron?
Cast Iron' is typically brittle, while 'Maleable Iron' has a small percentage of carbon which allows it to be hammered and formed. Steel is an alloy that consists mostly of iron and has a carbon content between 0.2% and 2.1% by weight, depending on the grade. Carbon is the most common alloying material for iron. Steel is a crystalline structure of iron molecules interspersed with carbon molecules. This is properly known as cementite. The hardness and malleability of steel depends not only on the carbon content, but on how the carbon and iron molecules are arranged to one another. Internal stresses in the steel's crystalline structure will increase or decrease depending on the temperature it is subjected to and the rate at which molten steel is cooled. This 'tempering' can increase the strength of the steel at the expense of brittleness.
Q:Casting Stainless Steel?
You have 2 options. Sand casting or investment casting. Stainless steel can be cast with either of these methods. In either case a model or pattern will have to be created. For sand casting the pattern is all that is needed to go to casting. For investment casting the pattern is used to make a wax casting, which is then coated with the investment. The wax is burned out and the metal is then poured into the cavity. If you are making just 1 or 2 pieces you can have waxes machined. This saves the intermediate step Depending on the size machining may still be your best option. Especially if you want just 1 part.
Q:how to make a unique piece of steel?
If you really want to do this, you should be getting some books on steel metallurgy rather than asking on Yahoo. ASM sells a Metallurgy for the non-metallurgist that would be a good introduction. Most university libraries will have the full ASM handbook that includes detailed information for different grades of steel (vol 1), heat treatment and surface hardening (vol 4), testing (vols 8-12), and casting (vol 15). A reference for continuous cooling transformation diagrams will also help in designing a heat treatment process. If you want to make something stronger than most commercial steels, you'll need to get into nanotechnology and unconventional steel processing methods like powder metallurgy. You can increase the strength of steel by about 1000% by reducing the grain size from 50 micron (typical for conventional processing methods) to 100 nm (achievable through high-energy ball milling). Though you'd also need to customize the chemistry to stabilize the grain size during the necessary thermal processing, I believe zirconium works well with iron.
Q:fallout 3, broken steel?
Yes, with Broken Steel there is no end to the game. You survive the main quest where you would die in the original game and may go on to explore the wasteland forever.
Q:Sealing stainless steel?
Make a paste from Lemon Juice and salt, scrub gently, and then rinse with water. To clean a stainless steel surface, use mild detergent,or baking soda or vinegar diluted in water. Clean, then dry with a soft cloth. Most stainless steel has a grain; if you are using any kind of an abrasive on a stainless surface, always make sure you clean in the direction of the grain. The don'ts are: Don't use bleach. Don't use steel wool unless it is an absolute last resort. Some of the fine particles can lodge in the surface of the stainless and will eventually rust, giving the appearance that the stainless itself is rusting. Don't let the following food items (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, salad dressings) remain on your stainless surfaces for any length of time. If they sit on the stainless for more than a few minutes, they may bleach it out. You can actually rub out this white area with a very fine Scotchbrite pad. Make sure you are going along the grain lines and not at right angles to them.
Q:will a stainless steel gun rust?
Stainless steel does not rust. But your Stainless Barrel is not true stainless steel. True stainless steel is a mix of steel and chrome, and the chrome has a certaion percentage of the overal weight.. But a Stainless barrel does not contain enough chrome to be true stainless, so it can rust.
