Product Description:

Cold rolling means that hot rolled steel coil is rolled below recrystallization temperature after pickling, and its finished product is full hard coil. After annealing process for full hard coil, the finished product is cold rolled production. The thin gauge cold rolled steel sheet and strip steel have advantages of low surface roughness, high dimension accuracy and good mechanical properties etc, and which have been widely used in auto manufacturing, home appliance, architecture, aviation, precision instrument, hardware and enameling industry etc.

Q:why is ships made of steel?
Steel became the medium of construction almost be accident. The Royal Navy began to coat its wooden ships with a coating of steel to give them added protection in battle. They were known as the Iron Clads. From this it was a small step by such people as Brunnel to start construction in iron, then various other steels. The Great Eastern is a classic example. Over the last one hundred years the main improvement is in welding rather than a riveted construction. Improvements in steel have lead to a reduction in the scantlings and through this a reduction I the weight of the ship which has allowed for an increase in the carrying capacity. There always have been specialist ships built with alternative materials. Aluminium, wood, concrete and GRP. GRP. Also it must be remembered that there has been great advances in steel, from the early days of cast iron.
Q:Can A Person Recycle Steel?
Hi, You bet ya.Right now its the big boom here in Maine.A lot of people are doing it ,its a good thing cause its helping clean up a lot of the junk around here. You could go to a scrap yard But I don't think they would seel much right now they are busier then ever just bringing in stuff. Anyways if you really got a lot let me know I can tell you everything you need to know and what to do with what you got. Mike
Q:How to temper steel? ?
I've okorder.com for back and forth communication. I could type up some lengthy post, you'd read it and be like I don't have that piece of gear and all my time is wasted.
Q:What is the accuracy of steel tape inspection
This is the smallest scale brothers precision measuring tools, minimum scale steel tape is mm, mm is estimated to read out the data, such as steel tape measure length is 12.5 mm, which is 12 in the steel tape on the scale with the number of 0.5.It was read out. So the accuracy is millimeters.
Q:Damascus steel knife?
Ok, lets define what is Damascus steel. The modern Damascus is basically any steel that shows a pattern. Patterns are accomplished by 1. manipulating the crystal structure or 2. by combining 2 or more different alloys together. The blade you are looking at is referred to as a pattern welded blade. Damascus is only as strong as it's base components + heat treat and design. The strongest will be obtained by combining high carbon and low carbon steels. I do this by using steel cable. The patterns aren't real bold but are interesting none the less. To break it you must brake the hard steel and tear through the soft iron. The laminated stuff works the same way. For greater edge holding I use all high carbon, varying alloy content from simple carbon to chromium/nickle alloys. These are what you normally find in pattern welded blades. A fine pattern that has many lamination's crossing the edge will offer the best edge holding. Properly done one can get the DCE or damascus cutting effect where the soft layers wear away faster than the hard layers almost making the blade self sharpening. Is that blade good? Buy it if you like it, it won't compare to a well made hand forged blade but is much cheaper. sorry for the overload.
Q:what is 440c stainless steel means?
It is the alloy number given by the American Iron and Steel Institute, or AISI. This is the trade organization of the U.S. steel industry, one of the oldest such organizations. 440C is also known under the UNS system as S44004 440C is a high carbon, plain chromium stainless steel. Or more specifically: 18% Cr, ~1.1% C, ~1.0% Mo, Si, and Mn 440c is mostly used in cutlery, bearings, and valve parts; because it has the best strength and hardness after basic heat treatment of any stainless steel. Relatively poor properties in other areas make it less suitable for other types of items. for example 440c becomes very brittle in sub zero temperatures. 410 is similar to 440, but it is a cheaper milder steel with less chromium and carbon, so it is less brittle, more easily worked and machined, but lacks final strength and hardness. it is often used in cheap stainless fasteners and bushings.
Q:What grade of steel is best suited for use on ships. Specifically trawlers?
Best amusing on right here in a while ,simply heading to the harbour bar to look at the fleet are available ,Booboo edged for me ,preferred the Liverpool one ,probably subsequent time we ll inform Chrispen its just a pleasant raid ,however excellent ,the entire equal
Q:pleas tell me any website for engineering calculations in steel fabrications?
not okorder.com/
Q:How to clean all-clad stainless steel pans?
Here's what All Clad has to say: Cleaning Cleaning the Stainless Steel Interior: Immerse in warm water. Use a fine powder cleanser with water to form a paste. Apply paste using a soft cloth. Rub in a circular motion from the center outward. Wash in hot, soapy water, dry immediately. DO NOT USE oven cleaners or cleansers with chlorine bleach. DO NOT USE steel wool. Cleaning the Steel Stainless Exterior: The polished stainless steel exterior of All-Clad Stainless requires very little care. It may be polished with one of the available commercial stainless steel cleaners, rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse in lukewarm water. We do not recommend using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents. Nylon scrubbing pads are safe to use. You may wash Stainless in the dishwasher. The cleaners that they're talking about here are: Soft Scrub Bon Ami Barkeeper's Friend Those are the LEAST abrasive and won't harm your pans.....look for them in the cleaning aisle of your supermarket......How do you like your All Clad, BTW?? Just wondering......Enjoy!! Christopher
