Q:Is there Non-Corrosive stainless steel?
All stainless steel will corrode in certain conditions. Some varieties are worse than others. For instance grade 409 which is used for car exhausts (and other things) will rust. For the most suitable grade call a local steel supplier which carries stainless steel. Some of these companies will have a catalog of available grades and the appropriate uses. It would probably help to let them know what types of chemicals are present and what temperature the water is. You may want to call several suppliers, the quality of answer you get may vary quite a bit from company to company. The cost of exotic grades of stainless can be quite high. you may have to use a less appropriate grade if you can't justify the cost. If corrosion is a very serious concern for this be forewarned that stainless steels can be contaminated by contact with carbon steel (ordinary steel). I have seen rust form on stainless steel after a carbon steel bar was set down on the stainless steel. The carbon steel will leave trace amounts under prolonged contact. I have even seen signs of contamination of stainless steel direct from the supplier.
Q:Are steel toed boots okay for street motorcycle riding?
I personally like to feel the shifter, and I've found that I can't feel the shifter as well through steel toed boots. Steel toed boots are designed to protect you in the event of something heavy dropping on your foot - which isn't very likely on a motorcycle. I have also found that in extreme cold that steel toed boots seem to act like a heat sink for your feet - non steel toed boots seem to stay just a little bit warmer. If you're a new rider, a very blunt toe (whether steel or not) can make getting your toes under the shifter a little more difficult, but with some practice and experience, you will get used to it. Honestly, I don't think it really makes all that much difference. All new riders have difficulty with the shifter, and it will take time for you to get used to it either way. I don't think the difference is really even worth going out and buying another set of boots, but yeah, if you were getting your first pair, I would tell you to look for a boot with a toe that is slender and tapered (vs. blunt), and non-steel.
Q:Steel Pick + Acoustic Guitar = Trashed Guitar?
That's not a question, it's a statement. And how would using any kind of pick trash a guitar? At worst it would harm a $5 set of strings, not the guitar.
Q:Golf: Graphite shaft, or Steel shaft sand wedge?
First question, are you guy or girl? stronger or weaker? Steel shaft gives you consistency over graphite because of the weight. For example, Tiger once used a steel shaft in his driver because steel shaft's weight gives him consistency. Key point is he can handle the weight (110g +). Same with you, steel shaft is preferred as it gives you consistency. It's also heavy enough that you can let the natural weight, aka gravity, to let you hit thru the rough, sand, etc.. key point is if you can handle the weight.

Q:stainless steel not so stainless?
I, too, don't like stainless steel because it is so hard to keep clean. Bar Keeper's Friend really does become your friend when you cook on stainless steel. It will remove the burnt on food, remove the dark brown stains and keep it looking new, however. And, it won't void most manufacturer's warranties on the cookware. It just takes the elbow grease to do it every time you use it. I found it is necessary to use more olive oil than you think is necessary, a lower flame than most recipes call for and a lot of patience if you plan to use it on a daily basis. I went back to my non-stick Calphelon because I am not a patient woman, I like instantaneous gratification and hate scrubbing pots and pans!
Q:Steel horse shoes vs. aluminum?
IMO, steel is fine. The only time I've felt that aluminum was important was: 1. A horse with a specific shoeing issue that required an aluminum shoe. 2. A racehorse-- every micro-gram counts. 3. Top level pleasure horses who need a little bit flatter knee. Everything else I've seen did just fine in regular steel shoes.
