Q:what are solar panels?
Guide okorder.com
Q:Solar panels on the roof?
You dont say where you live? you need to consider average sunshine hours. There are some sites on the net that will work out for you what percentage of nameplate capacity you could expect to receive for different areas. Usually the capital cost wont be paid off for at least ten years, so money wise you would do much better by investing the cash. I once asked a guy (climate warmer) whether his solar panels had paid off or would do in the future, his answer was no but it was the right thing to do morally.
Q:how do I become a solar panel contractor?
Every single solar system will have to be put on every roof by people. Of course much of the processes used installation are designed to be as pain free and trouble free (and therefore as inexpensive) as possible but in a typical British street of semi detached houses built in the 930s you could find as many different plumbing and heating systems as there are houses, so you will never be able to remove the human installation element.
Q:Self build solar panel ?
Lithium okorder.com/ For USB power, there are some references you should seek out from the websites of Fairchild, On Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, just to name a few. There are others, and if your IPad has the control circuitry for the accurate charging of their batteries, and you just need the USB port to have the right power available, a high compliance regulator such as an LM7805 should do just fine. Spec sheets for that regulator are available through the above mentioned manufacturers websites as well.
Q:Questions about the okorder.com solar panels?
I believe Earth4Energy to be a bald-faced scam, selling plans that will not do what is implied in the marketing, and imparting no information that is not publicly available on the internet, already. If you were to search for solar panel on torrent sites, most likely, some disgruntled customer has posted the material. It probably violates the E4E copyright, so I'm not suggesting that you get it in this manner. I'm going to skip many of your questions, given my already-stated opinion of Earth4Energy. Professionally-installed panels have a net cost of thousands of dollars in general. While they can save money (and Southern Cal is an ideal place for this), consider that it generally takes 0 years or more to get your money back. If you're on S Cal Edison, or SD Gas and Electric, you can go on net metering. They don't really pay you, they credit your electric bill. After a year, if you used more electricity than you generated, you pay them. If you generated more than you used, they reset the balance to zero and say thanks for your donation. You never really get a check, like in some other states. But you should have lower electric bills. You can put up panels for your own use without any certification. To put up panels professionally, you'll need a C-0 contractor's license from the state, or will need to be under the supervision of someone with such a license. But if it's the latter, you might just be the grunt that carries the panels off the truck and up the ladder, for minimum wage. I'd say better than 95% of residentail solar is connected to the grid, if the grid is available. It's a clear winner. Who wants to pay 50% more for their system, just to have batteries that need their water and acid checked all the time? Below is one of many unsatisfied customers from Earth4Energy. Be careful in your search, people selling these reports have bought up the keywords such as scam and ripoff to direct you back to sites selling the product.
Q:Do you know that China is the largest producer of solar panels in the world?
Well, for thirty grand I hope they're of better quality than most of the stuff coming out of there.....Meh, I've got an old Boy Scout manual and some Foxfire books. I'll just make some myself this weekend.
Q:Do I only need solar panels to have energy in day and through the night?
You can energize your home with a solar panel system if it sized correctly and if you have sufficient space for the panels oriented in the correct position. The solar panels will not provide your power directly since most of the devices we use are AC. The system will include and inverter for conversion from DC to AC. It will also include batteries to store your daytime energy for your nighttime use. If considering a solar panel system look and the references below and don't forget to do a home energy audit first to minimize your electrical needs so you can invest in a smaller system. I would also recommend incorporating solar hot water heating system, separate from solar panels. This will also minimize the amount of solar panels you will need.
Q:Can we cover up solar panels on our house with regular siding?
I took mine out to prevent any future problems. Covered the holes with plywood.
Q:solar panels and electrocution?
Q:How do I get a grant passed for my school for solar panels?
I do not want to argue over the pay back period for solar panels but from the information I have been gathering, payback could be from 5-5 years, not 40. I guess it depends on the amount of sun that each panel will recieve, so maybe both could be partially correct. Another item to be aware of is that while the cost of your panels and the electricity generated by them will remain stable or decrease significantly for 25 years, the cost of your other energy sources will generally be increasing , perhaps very significantly. Since your school is being built now, it will need a roof. There are photovoltaic shingles for this. Look into it yourself. Do a google search for google green and see what they are doing already. Present this information to your PTA and any other organization who might have influence. This is really a time for your generation to step up and stop listening to nay sayers. Think for yourself, study, research it and broadcast everything you learn to others.
