Warranty

provides a 1~3 year limited warranty (“Warranty”) against defects in materials and workmanship for its Uninterruptible power supply, Power inverter/chargers, Solar charge controllers, Battery Products (“Product”).

The term of this Warranty begins on the Product(s) initial purchase date, or the date of receipt of the Product(s) by the end user, whichever is later. This must be indicated on the invoice, bill of sale, and/or warranty registration card submitted to MUST-Solar. This Warranty applies to the original MUST-Solar Product purchaser, and is transferable only if the Product remains installed in the original use location.

FAQ

1.    How do I decide which system is right for me ?

For protection from long outages, include a generator or solar panels in your Must solar system. Shorter outages can be handled by a battery-only system.

2.    Where my system will be installed ?

Must solar systems are usually wall-mounted near a home's main electrical (circuit breaker) panel.

3. How do I install my system ?

A must solar backup inverter is connected to a home electric system , we will supply detailed installation manual and videos for our customers .

Q:Do solar panels require a battery for energy storage?
No, solar panels do not require a battery for energy storage. However, if you want to store the excess energy generated by the panels for use during non-sunny periods or at night, a battery storage system can be installed.
Q:Are solar panels environmentally friendly?
Yes, solar panels are environmentally friendly. They produce clean and renewable energy by converting sunlight into electricity, resulting in reduced greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution compared to fossil fuel sources. Additionally, solar panels have a long lifespan and can be recycled, further minimizing their environmental impact.
Q:How much space is required to install solar panels?
The amount of space required to install solar panels depends on various factors such as the size and type of panels, energy requirements, and available sunlight. Generally, a typical residential solar panel system requires anywhere between 100 to 400 square feet of unobstructed roof space per kilowatt of installed capacity. However, it is best to consult with a solar installer to determine the exact space requirements based on your specific needs and site conditions.
Q:Does any one know how to make a solar panel or a type of Alternative energy maker. Best answer gets 0 points
Though wind energy is the big thing at present, and I derive a significant part of my income from doing engineering on these wind farms, I personally prefer a wood-fired boiler steam turbine generator combination as the best renewable energy system. Wind generation works great when the wind blows, but if you intend to go off-grid expect to invest in energy storage and some other form of backup power. Solar photovoltaic panels are about 6% efficient at best, and that's only when the sun is shining brightly. If you consider that trees (biomass) are a completely natural, renewable energy resource, and couple this energy resource with modern clean combustion technology, this makes for a great dispatchable, long-term sustainable, ready-when-you-need-it solution. Go wood!
Q:Can solar panels be installed on metal roofs?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on metal roofs. In fact, metal roofs are considered to be one of the best types of roofs for solar panel installation due to their durability, longevity, and ease of installation. The metal roof provides a stable and secure base for mounting the panels, ensuring optimal energy production. Additionally, the smooth surface of metal roofs allows for efficient panel placement, maximizing sunlight absorption.
Q:Mono-crystalline or poly-crystalline solar panel?
All solar photovoltaics drop in efficiencies with higher temperatures but it isn't the 45+ C you have to worry about but rather the heat from the sunlight striking the panels. There are hybrid systems which passes water in pipes attached to the back of the solar panels to cool the panels and preheat the water for solar thermal collectors. The difference between mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline are that mono-crystalline are more efficient and more costly to make.
Q:My project needs to build a thermal solar panel that would be used as a demonstrational rig. The dimensions i am allowed do not allow me to use a normal thermal solar panel so i have decided to use the heat exchanger from the back of a fridge. Although this is possible to use what equation would i use to prove the power of the sun would actually heat up the water. More importantly when the rig is demonstrated to students, they will need to be able to determine if the raise in temperature given by the thermometers is what should be given. Variables of the rig will include: Angle of the panel, Light intensity, Direction of panel, and more importantly the flow rate of the water travelling through the pipes. What equation includes those variables (change in temperature, flow rate) and would allow me to incorporate the angle of the panel. The light source would be a lamp so i would also need to know how much of the energy from the lamp is actually being used by the panel?
solar panels don't store energy, they only generate it. If you want to store energy you need a battery bank of some kind to get you through the night and anytime the sun isn't shining. If you have a little extra in the budget you might look at a geothermal system for your home's heating and cooling needs. They're highly efficient systems and you can supplement however you like. Whatever you do, though I hope you have a good building envelope in place already. Solar panels are cool, but if you have a leaky house, you're still not getting the best out of your panels. Do the more mundane stuff first. Insulation, windows, and weather-tight doors.
Q:i used 734 killowatts of power last month, any idea on how many solar panels i would need. What im looking for is to somehow hook up my central air to solar panels.
Good answer above me. One other tip, look at your full year's usage. Last month, if it was cold, you probably didn't have your air conditioner on. Our house uses 500-600 kWh a month average, but we have no air conditioner. To generate all of this requires a 3 kW array in our part of California. That's only to give you an idea of what it takes - what you need will be based on how much sun your area gets, and what percentage of power you want to get from the array. If you pay tiered electric rates, it may make sense to displace only part of your electricity with solar. Or it may not make financial sense at all, if you have cheap electricity where you live. To get the best assessment of what kind of system would be appropriate, try to get one or two no-obligation quotes from local companies. You can always turn down the bids, but at least you will have learned what's involved and the approximate cost. If you want to see what we did with our house, please contact me through the email in my profile.
Q:If you want to instal solar panels...how often do you have to replace them?
One of the major solar panel manufacturers just upped their warranty period to 30 years for 90% of their rated output because the panels just keep working without losing efficiency. Of course if a large hail storm comes by you might have to replace them a little earlier..
Q:Hey guys :)Well I'm in the middle of doing my PSHCE coursework on sustainable energy, focusing on solar panels. I just wanted to ask you what your opinions are of them? Are they really worth it? Are they sustainable? Will they reduce our energy bills? Those sort of questions :)If you are interested in installing solar panels, please mention that, as it would be great! There's lots of information about them on this site ----
I have a boat in a sunny place and four 80 watt panels. These will run my fridge Tv and a few LED's. I still have to run my engine for hot water and washing machine. My Batteries only last a few years and are a real pain. I go on the mains when I can to get the batteries topped up. The panels are ok if there is nothing else, they are not the answer to the future of energy supply. There is also the moral aspect of the feed in tariff. For the rich to load their electricity bill onto the less well off is not acceptable and those panels on the roof tell all your neighbors that you are doing it. That will show a greedy selfish attitude. If they are any good why don't the power companies buy them and save buying coal?
