Q:is 1 an additive identity and please explain
The identity element of a group has the property that if you combine it with any other element, x, of the group using the group operator, you get x. The additive identity of a field is the same thing, except that it applies to the field's addition operator. It is the value I* such that x + I x. *I'm somewhat abusing the notation here. I is the customary symbol for the identity matrix. The additive identity for a field usually is named 0, hopefully for obvious reasons.
Q:find the number?!
Let x be the number for which you are looking. The additive inverse is -x. The reciprocal is (1 / x) (-x / 12) 3 * (1/x) - 1 Multiply both sides of this equation by the least common denominator which is 12x, getting:: -x^2 12 * (3) - 12x Since, when I'm factoring. I like the x^2 term to be positive, multiply both sides by (-1), getting: x^2 12x - 36Subtract 12x - 36 from both sides x^2 - 12x - (-36) 0 x^2 - 12x + 36 0 (x - 6)^2 0 6Answer Note: In the rush of a test it's better to factor nice quadratic equations than to deal with the quadratic formula. Just make sure everything is on the left hand side of the equation and that the x^2 term is positive before you factor. Checking: -6/12 ? (3 / (6)) - 1 -1/2 ? (1/2) - 1 -1/2 ? -1/2.Yes it does so the answer is correct. .
Q:those little bottles that they sell that says all these improvementsshould i be using them or they‘re all just a big lie and a big waste of money?thanks
They can help remove moisture in the fuel. If your car is giving you trouble because of bad gas or moisture build up in the tank (because it sat in humid or rainy weather with the gas cap off or something like that) then they can help. If you have trash in the tank, they can also help push that into the fuel filter where it is easier to change the filter and remove it. I don't think you should use them on a routine basis. They usually do improve gas mileage and performance a little (couple of MPG more), but only for a tank or 2 until it's all used up. After that the mileage/performance goes back to normal, and usually is not worth the cost of the additive just for that benefit.
Q:Are salt baked chicken flavored powder a food additive?
Salt Baked Chicken Seasoning Flour is a food additive that is not a food additive. Belong to food seasoning.
Q:what are all the additives to a reef tank?
The chemicals you will need all depends on the species of invertebrates you want to get. And the price also depends on that as well.
Q:ok im doing a report on food additives and was wondering if you knew some names or good website for this. i mean additives like KFC inject into their chicks to make them bigger. or Monsanto (think that was it) inject into their cows to make them produce more milk. anything to do with animals thanks
Some used to use diethylstilbestrol (DES), but they stopped that around 1960 because it caused cancer in women. Since then it has been illegal to use hormones or steroids in chicken at all. They might be using other kinds of additives now, but none that I know of, sorry. However, one thing to look out for lately has been genetic modification to chickens to make them grow larger and quicker.
Q:What is the national standard for food additives?
This standard specifies the lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, tin, nickel, chromium, nitrate, nitrite, benzopyrene, N-nitrosamines, polychlorinated biphenyls, 3-chloro- Limited limit of propylene glycol.
Q:I noticed that this brand of tobacco is more expensive than other brands and is advertised as a luxury tobacco what does this mean and is this brand of tobacco additive free.
With all due respect, sir, unless you are illiterate, the ads state quite clearly that although this brand of cigarettes is made with additive free tobacco, they are in fact, still made with tobacco. This means that yes, they have nicotine in them. Duh.
Q:Would adding a additive or the wrong type of power steering fluid, cause the car to steer hard?
Depends what you added
Q:what are the food additives for fish and their maximum allowable limit?
If you mean canned or frozen fish, it would be usually be salt, preserving type chemicals and water or oil. Read the ingredient label on the can or frozen package for additives. If you mean fresh fish, there should be no additives in it.
