Q:did the twin towers have a thirteenth floor ?

Q:How can i stop the squeaks in the floor?
I assume we are talking about a travel trailer. Some more description of the vehicle & the problem would be helpful. Although the problem can be caused by loose screws or bolts where the floor is secured to the chassis, it is almost always caused by a plywood floorboard that is loose from a crossmember within the floor itself. Often the problem will occur where two sections of flooring meet at a seam, where the loose one will rub against the edge of the one next to it. Many times the situation is as a result of water intrusion, damaging the wood or the fasteners. The correction is to resecure the loose board back down to the crossmember. It can be screwed or glued into place. This is easy enough, except that the carpet or vinyl flooring may need to be lifted to access the area, and if the wood is water-damaged additional work might be needed. An experienced RV technician can evaluate the problem pretty accurately just by walking on the area. You might run it by a reputable shop and ask for an inspection, and a free estimate.

Q:the definition of floor...?
I'm guessing this is the floor() function in the cmath library. The floor() function is the greatest integer function which you may know from mathematics. floor(x) returns the largest integer less than or equal to x. Examples: floor(2.5) returns 2 floor(0) returns 0 floor(12.999) returns 12 floor(-13.5) returns -14 (because -14 is the largest integer which is LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO -13.5) Hope this helps.
Q:Will this work for a floor?
Is the floor sound? ok to walk on etc., If yes just looks bad, then you can fill in cracks with wood putty not joint compound. then best/easy would be to prime/paint. they now make lots of paint for floors. also where do you live? is it moist, hot, dry, etc. that will need to be figured into type of paint. check with local hardware like ace or true value. if do not want to paint, you can stain, use wood putty in the same color or you can add stain to putty first, darkening putty, fill cracks, than stain all over. dont forget to use sealer after. good luck
not always structural damage but could be: 1) shifting foundation (mostly due to changing moisture content in soil around house) 2) bad workmanship when installing the floor or support structure. 3) thermal growth/shrinking of material 4) bad design of support structure... support not sized properly for the load that it is supposed to carry. 5) moisture content of the flooring materials can cause it to grow or shrink. I'm sure there are many more reasons.
