Lots and lots of ideas, some not expensive, some big enough to cover the whole chair. I like the one where the tulle is wrapped around the chair from different directions, and secured with a piece of contrasting color tulle and a fake flower.

I okorder you can get many great deals on high chairs and other used things. The cool thing with a high chair is that even if you get it used you can still wash all the parts and have it like brand new for less money.

Q:I bought a Thomasville Winfrey chair for $40 used last year, and have been holding off on having it reupholstered because of the cost. I've tried slipcovers with arm padding, but everything just looks weird on it. The current fabric is in terrible shape, but the structure is like new, and the wood is in great shape.

If the structure is in good shape and a new chair would be at least $900, then yes, $350 to reupholster the chair is worth it. Thomasville furniture is good quality and as long as you get a good upholsterer to do the work, it should last a long time.

Q:The lady who owns the venue we chose is something else, let me tell you...I wish now I'd have gone somewhere else, but we just couldn't afford more! So she won't have the chairs arranged in rows for the ceremony (we're having it indoors because it's FALL) and so we're forced to have guests sit at their tables.How can I make this look better??

I recently conducted a wedding where the set-up was similar - and because the tables were very long it was impossible to move them away. So we turned the first row of chairs round so the people sat with their backs to the first table and added to the row the chairs on the other side of the table, and then moved the chairs at the other tables so the people at each table were essentially sitting on the one side of that table with their backs to the table and facing the ceremony area (for a ceremony people can sit much closer together than they would for dining) and then after the ceremony people just took their chairs back to their own place. Worked well.

sit down interior the chair for a minimum of quarter-hour - each chair you think of you may like - and purchase the single this is maximum mushy to you. you may no longer stumble on a comfortable chair without surely sitting in it.

How much are you willing to spend? To get a quality set that will last for years, I would check out Pier 1 Imports, Crate and Barrel, or Pottery Barn. Most of these stores are now marking off patio furniture, as the season is ending. Even so, the shipping prices can get ya if you have to shop online at these stores. If you're a bit strapped for cash, check Wal-Mart (though they might be short in the outdoor furniture department past the month of July). If you're lucky, you may be able to find a set at an estate or garage sale (where my family was able to find an outdoor table and chair set). Also, there's a secondhand furniture store in my area, so if there is a similar outfit near you, I'd give it a look; you never know what you might be able to find.

Q:Has anyone ever gotten a little dizzy when your dentist raises your chair back up ? It only lasts a few seconds but I was wondering what was causing it to happen :)

Q:There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it. I'd really like to reupholster the chair and give it new life. The thing is, I've never done any reupholstering at all. Would this be possible or would I need someone to work on it for me? Are there any good websites with how to videos on this type of thing? I don't care much about the cost. I'm just looking for tips and suggestions. Thanks.

It's real easy; my aunt found this rocker at a garage sale and reupholstered it w/ little trouble.
