Q:so he is 18 months old and recently got a toddler bed... the first night went well put him in bed shut his door and he got out was at door for a few minutes then got back in bed... but now he is getting out of his bed with his blanket and sleeping right in front of his door... which is a problem because when we go to bed we always open his door open and check on him...now its really hard to get the door even open.. then carefully move him to his bed I def dont want him sleeping on the floor...suggestions please? He has always been good about going to bed he would go get his blanket we would kiss him goodnight an put him in bed he would talk for a lil bit and go right to sleep..... FYI he seems to really like the new bed its the step2 fire truck one..

Just let him sleep on the floor. Eventually he will wake up and realize he doesn't want to be there, and he'll probably get back in bed. It might take a few days or even weeks, though.

Q:I have a twin bed buts its longer than my other twin beds! Is there a certain name for these or are they still called twin. Anyone know?

I recently learned about these as my oldest son went off to college. They are called Extra Long Twins. There are specific sheets and bedding for them under the same name. The bedding is easier to find at back to school time as most college dorm rooms have these. I had great luck at Bed, Bath Beyond and Linens N Things.

Q:my fiance and i are moving in together. I have a full/double size bed at my parents house that would be fine to start off with for the two of us. he wants to push his twin size bed and my double together to make a larger bed. is that possible? would it even fall into a size category for beds?

I always where a tampon and a pad to bed. I haven't ever had a leak. Just if you do this then make sure to put in a new tampon RIGHT before you go to bed and then take it out right when you get up.
