Product Description

The nylon overcoated wires demonstrate the same properties as the above wires without polyamide coating.

What's more, because of the nylon coating, these wires' mechanic properties are improved greatly.

Used in such cases where fast winding is needed.

Q:I know very little about cars and stereo systems. I just got a car the other day, and it had a Kenwood head unit installed. Only problem is, it doesn't work. Some of the buttons are broken, rendering it useless. I was looking at getting a new head unit (probably JVC) and I was wondering if I would have to go through all of the wiring. Or would it be as simple as unplugging it from the other unit and plugging it into the new one? Details:1999 Ford EscortOld head unit: Kenwood KDC-MP628Possible new unit: JVC KD-S37
You can keep the vehicle harness and just find a harness the fits it and hard wire the wires from the stereo deck to it. I just installed a stereo in my vehicle that came with a VW wiring harness, but I was putting it in a pontiac aztek. So I bought a GM harness off OKorder that fit the one in my vehicle, cut off the VW harness and hard wired the wires into the new harness. Works perfectly. One thing you do need to do is find a wiring harness for the vehicle harness, and one for the wires from your stereo deck and make sure each of the wires lines up with the wires in vehicles harness pins. Sounds like a lot more work than it is.
Q:I need to know where the wiring harness comes from for the front radar on a BMW E90 (3-series) vehicle equipped with the 'Active Cruise Control' (ie. ACC) option. Please link to pics of where the harness connects to the radar and where the harness joins the main wiring harness for the vehicle. Thanks.
What you need is ALLDATA(online service manual). This will have the wiring harness diagram that you need. There is even a cannon plug connector diagram that can tell you which wires go where. It's about thirty bucks a year per car, but is worth it for all the information that it contains.
Q:I have a 93 del sol and i startd to notice that my fuse was blowing alot to my radio.because im not a mechanic i had no idea what was wrong so i just kept replacing the fuse. Until recently when i smelld and then saw smoke coming outta my speaker hole.So i pulled off the paneling and realized that my wires were getting so hot they were burning all the plastic around them, and now they are all meltd together.my car wont start or anything. No lights are coming on when i turn the keyMy question is.How much do you think it will cost to fix this? And does this sound like the wiring harness is fried to you?How much does 1 usually go for at a junk yard??Thank YOU
Replace all damaged wires. It you have a resistance tester (Fluke for instance is top-of-the-line, very good, but cheap knock-offs are available at Radio Shack) then you can check the wires. your wires are too small for the amount of power going to the speakers (did you recently upgrade components?) get a larger gauge (AWG) (smaller number on wire). then you'll have to check all the appropriate fuses - there may be more than one blown. When the wire insulation melted, a short formed over current smoke and other bad stuff. This is all a start. It's hard to say how extensive the damage really is without a knowledgeable electrician on scene. Also, there could be another problem that occurred simultaneously or that could have been masked.
Q:can i use a US wire harness on a JDM engine?? i need one for my h22 and its been really hard for me to find it. i found one for a desent price, but its a US made wire harness for a h22 t-tec
yes you may have to extend wires abit but it will work i am using my usdm wiring on a jdm b16 motor. Google swaps and they usually tell you what u have to do.
Q:I have a 2003 Harley Davidson soft tail (with a carburetor) that needs a new main wire harness. I recently purchased a harness for a 2000 model 'Deuce', and everything plugs in just like the old one except it (the Deuce) has a 8-pin connector going to the turn signal module instead of 12-pins (like the original). Any info anyone can give me regarding the differences in these harnesses would be helpful and greatly appreciated, however right now my biggest objective is to just get a spark to the spark plug so I can start the bike. Thanks in advance for any advice.
You have the wrong harness. The 2000's use a straight turn signal module. In 2001, HD integrated a factory security system into the bkes. When they did this, they integrated the security system into the turn signal module which is called a turn signal/security module (TSSM). You would see this in the wiring diagram if you had a FACTORY service manual.this is why you NEVER attempt any work on your own without a manual!!! A manual will pay for itself the first time it saves you from an experience like this. What was wrong with your original harness?.What's up with no spark, due to the harness?
Q:I have a 09 subaru forester nonnav standard audio package, looking to replace the stereo with an after market one. I bought the harness and I was curious if im better off sudering the wires or just splicing them together and using electrical tape? Or crimping them. Any suggestions?
i think soldering's a pain in the butt, and always end up melting or burning something i'm not supposed to. so if it were me, i'd just use a wire cutter and clamps, or those caps that screw onto two wires twisted together. just make sure you have enough wire exposed for a good, solid connection. god luck, and happy holidays!
Q:I have the alternator completely removed, with the exception of the wiring harness. The obvious way to remove it would be by pulling it out. The problem is that the wiring harness has no push in piece to release it from the alternator itself
Wire cutters!
Q:I installed the HID kit without the harness for a couple of months and my friend said that it'll be better if I put the harness in since it draws electricity directly from the battery. Before I put the harness on, the lights were fine and when I installed the harness, it got brighter. Is this due to the wiring harness or something else?
after a few minutes of using hid without the relay the cables will get hot and create ohms so the energy will pass slow and less causing your headlights brite low when you use the relay the cable who feed the hid will automatically change from one cable to another keeping the cables fresh and cool so more energy will pass by making your lights brite a lot more you can connect the hid directly from the battery but you have to use a heavy wire so wont heat so easy and you don't need the relay, but relay is usefully because if something goes wrong relay will goes off and nothing happen is like a fuse another thing is the battery only start the engine, when engines start the alternator do the job so replacing a battery with another one more heavy dont do a thing replace your alternator with a heavy one and you are done
Q:I have a 2005 pontiac g6 gt with the premium monsoon sound system and the Cd player has stopped working a while back and have just recently bought a new one and I would like to have the jvc KW-ADV790 installed in it. I do not know what wiring harness to buy. I took it to circuit city to have them install it three weeks ago and they ordered the part but still don't have it and I am going to be going on a long car trip relatively soon and would like to listen to cds. I was planning on having the part overnight-ed and just taking it to them so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.thanks, Rob
Well okorder
Q:I have a 1993 Ford Probe 2.0 Manual. I need help figuring out what I can do to get in running again. The only thing that is stopping it from running is the engine wiring harness that was cut. We pulled the starter out and the wiring harness that is connected to it was cut Can they be rewired? If so where can I get that done? Where can I find a new one that isn't cut? Please help me, I need to find a fast and easy way to get this problem fixed. I've hunted for parts in salvage yards but can't find any that aren't cut from them pulling the engines out. Advice?
you'd be ahead to get a sparkling harness or one from a salvage backyard, with all the connectors intact. The connectors on maximum autos can in effortless words connect one way, so it is demanding to hook it up incorrect. the biggest difficulty installation a harness is feeding via some tight areas, like below the intake or different tight spots. Haynes manuals have wiring diagrams in them, they are below $20 and must be ordered on-line or offered in a parts save.
