Q:AGAIN, will this FAUCET fit this SINK?
yes and you need a BASIN WRENCH !
Q:How do I replace my kitchen faucet?
There are different styles of faucet. There may be one projection or three (or four.) You would have to go back a very long way for the thing to be screwed down from the top. Usually there is from one to four "nuts" that hold the faucet down to the sink top. You are going to have to crawl under the sink to see and loosen them. It is an good place to start anyway as you are going to have to see if you can turn the water off under the sink or have to turn the house off instead. Once the water is turned off, disconnect the supply tubes and then loosen the nuts and remove the faucet from above. Most of the modern nuts are plastic but older ones may be rusted and difficult to remove. Sometimes a basin wrench can help and at least once I had to cut the faucet off with a sawzaw after removing the countertop.
Q:Help! Faucet replacement problem?
First, do the WD-40 thing. Spray the dickens out of it and leave it for an hour or so to allow the WD-40 to work through the rust. Second, go back to the hardware store and get a basin wrench. That is a special tool made for taking that pesky nut off in the tight spacing. They are not expensive and beat the heck out of bashing your knuckles trying to get another tool in there. Much less frustrating also! And while you're working under then, wear safety glasses if you don't wear glasses to protect your eyes from getting rust, rust with WD-40 in them. When you crack that nut loose, there will be all kinds of particulate material raining down. You don't need to get something in your eye and scratch your eye either!
Q:Balcony wash basin basin faucet high
This is based on the style of your choice of faucet and basin style to decide.
Q:leaking faucet, how do i fix it?
Unless this faucet is near and dear to your heart, just replace it. Be sure to replace it with a good one, because the cheap plastic ones only seem to last two or three years. Your faucet isn't glued to the countertop, it's just attached via two or three plastic nuts. You have to get directly below the faucet (where the water connections are) and you should see what you need to remove to get the old faucet off. There is a special wrench called a basin wrench that you can use or you can just use some pliers. They can be very tight and hard to remove though since you won't have much room. Be sure you turn the water off before you do any work....
Q:having problems replacing my kitchen faucet...?
Oh I bet you got the wrong sized supply lines. Take one back off and compare it side by side with the old one. I bet ya, I bet ya!
Q:Basin double hole faucet outlet pipe bottom leakage how to do?
1, fastening basin water tank screw in the basin below, hand can be unscrewed. 2, remove the old water, the following access to a basin, with a small brush on the bottom of the basin with a small brush to clean the basin. 3, the new water heater installed, from the top into the bottom, fastening in the bottom. Finally, according to the installation of water hose, according to the need to stretch the length of the tube on the line. 4, the installation is completed water pipe try, do not leak. The basin of sewage, dirt can be cleaned up.
Q:Wash basin sets of faucets on the combination of how high to set aside
General washbasin table height of 80 cm, faucet than the table height of about 5-10 cm can be.
Q:for outdoor water fountain, need vintage iron faucet (2 90 degree bends, and 2-3 feet long). local in detroit?
Have a blacksmith create one for you.
Q:Is Brasso good for shining up some "brass" basin faucets?
if you aren't sure if it actually is brass i'm not sure how well of a job it will do in polishing it. Basically most polishes work by rubbing off the oxide that has formed. I'm not sure how brasso wil react with non-brass metals, the same way iwouldn't polish sterling silver with brasso. if anything might i suggest some sort of home concoction? I Think vinegar was something peoples used as polishing. It has an acidic property to help remove the oxide, but no chemicals to worry about that might mingle with the metal. I don't recall what else they mix with the vinegar. You can just google "home made polish" I'm sure it'llg ive you a list of them Well good luck with your fixtures.
