Q:I was see the mobile detail wen i see the gps yes what is gps in mobile phone
GPS okorder
Q:I am in search to purchase a new phone. i hate all the att phones, they're ugly. so i heard that you could buy a t-mobile phone and put your sim card in and it would work. i wanted to know if this was acurate information. any comments?
Lots of great answers already for this
Q:are mobile phones elastic or inelastic ? why ? thank you
To elaborate on the above answer, I think part of it really depends on the customer base you're examining. As a whole, the mobile phone market is pretty elastic - it's not a necessity and there are already a lot of phones out there, so if prices were to go up fewer people would buy new phones and fewer people would upgrade their existing phones (the very definition of elastic). On the other hand, for certain professions mobile phones are very necessary. On-call doctors, many upper-level businesspeople, anybody who *must* be reachable as a part of their work, they all will exhibit inelastic buying behavior. Whether the phone cost $100 or $1000, if they have to have it to do their job, they'll spend the money so they can continue to work.
Q:does T-Mobile offer unlock for every phone?? expensive??
My husband bought a phone not from T-Mobile, but was unable to unlock it because we do not have data. We called T-Mobile and they let us sign up for 2 days of data (about $2). He was able to unlock the phone and play around with it a little. As long as the phone is compatible with T-Mobile, you should be able to get enough data to unlock it.
Q:if a mobile phone is on a pay monthly contract, can the sim be taken out and a pay as you go sim put in. will the phone still work if the sim is still with the locked with vodophone or t-mobile ect?
You can use the phone with a sim from the same carrier pre paid or contract, or you can also unlock the phone and use other carrier sim cards on your phone. Unlock codes are pretty reasonable on OKorder, just type in your (phone model + unlock code) in the OKorder search engine.
Q:I saw a virgin mobile jax phone for $14.99 I'm thinking about getting it cause it has a mp3 on it and I could use it as my permanent clock. I was just wondering if there is any activation fee or anything because I don't want to use
If you don't want to use it a phone, then you shouldn't have any problems. There's no activation fee, but you might have to pay for the first month's free to help activate it before you can use the programs. Not sure if you would or not, I just paid it on mine since I use it as a phone any way. If you want to use mp3's on it like you said, I'd watch out because it may be hard. I haven't had the same phone you said about exactly, but I have had several Virgin Mobile phones and Virgin Mobile has all the phones they sell set to not download anything from sites they don't like, which basically means anything free. That includes trying to send files over via cable or even bluetooth. For just an alarm, it should be a good choice, jst don't hope to get a lot done with it unless you wanna pay more to unlock it to download the songs you want if you want it as an mp3 player as well.
Q:I only need points on the social issues about mobile phones :) Ty
Distracted driving Environmental impact of discarded phones and batteries Lost art of true personal communication skills Manners -- When is is rude to talk on or answer your mobile phone Should kids be able to use phones in school Personal calls at work Do mobile phones increase the risk of certain types of cancer These are a few points that come to mind off the top of my head. Hope it helps.
Q:I want to have windows mobile on my intensity phone is this possible? if not can i put the real verison of windows 7 on my phone and if i did this i couldnt call people.i can download windows mobile but all i need to know is how to install it on my phone thanks.
unfortunately you cant install another OS on a phone. your best bet is to just buy a Win Mo phone. the full version of windows wont fit nor is it compatible on a phone. although there are numerous version of windows mobile floating around ROMs some custom some stock. you still need a phone that actually runs windows mobile. and although i'm sure you could attempt to update your rom for a win mo rom i'm sure it'll be a disaster! windows mobile phones are small computers that can ALSO make a phone call other phones are just. complicated phones.
Q:I'm 17I'm looking to buy a cheap mobile phone that will last a long timeI don't want to spend anymore than $200. What are some good phones?I live in Brisbane Australia
I have found that the best value mobile phones are the prepaid deals. You obviously get a prepaid card with it, which may be what you want. If it isn't, then you can use it up and then just use your previous sim card (if you had one), as you usually would. There are some good Nokia phones for $99. They can be found at Telstra Shops, Woolworths, Big W, Harvey Norman.just to name a few locations. Goodluck. I have been in the same situation and found this to the best option.
Q:I am trying my luck for the one last time if T-Mobile right for me. the phone i have is motorala razr which really terrible- poor reception, dropped calls etc. any suggestion just a simple tmobile phone with good reception , that is all in needed
Ho, ho, ho. Its the late Noughties, not the 1990s - reception is no longer an issue now. There are mobile phone receivers hidden in: Office blocks Flats Trees Lamp posts Farm buildings Industrial sites The list goes on. What I am trying to say is that back in the 90s, when mobiles were just beginning to get commercially popular and available there were nowhere near as many mobile phone masts since the market didn't demand it; not enough people were using mobiles. Now everyone has one and reception is simply not an issue with ANY operator unless you live up a high mountain or in the Outer Hebrides, which I doubt you do. The huge increase in customers has meant mobile phone operators have placed receivers EVERYWHERE. So, lose the 1990s reject opinion of cellular technology and simply find the best deal possible on whichever operator it is. Reception differing on individual network operators is utter, weapons-grade bullsh!t. Differing reception between operators is such a misnomer these days that if you do suffer from bad reception, it is more likely to be your PHONE than the operator itself. And even if you do wonder into an area where your operator does not have a mast, then your mobile will automatically switch into the next nearest mast and it doesn't matter which operator hosts it. So why would anyone ever have a reception issue these days unless they are using a leather case lined with lead.
