- Yes it depends, are we talking about a power cable for a piece of radio equipment? Then yes. Are we talking about a power cable for a government computer? Then no. What I can tell you is that if it's a power cable for a piece of radio/communications equipment then its Class 9 expendable. As far as other cables, maybe you could try looking on Army Property Book or FED Log; you may have more luck there.

- Q:I live in the UK and I am going on holiday to Taiwan/Japan where the voltage is 110/100v as opposed to 220 here (i think).I was wondering if I could use a power extension cable (with multiple sockets) so that i would only need one adaptor to connect the extension to the mains and then I could just simply plug my 3 pin plugs into the cable saving me money and sockets. As it would be a lower voltage, I assume that there shouldn't be any problems with power however, if there are any electricians or anyone who has done this before I would really appreciate some guidance just to ensure that this is safe.Thanks is advance.
- An extension cord is just more wire. Wire doesn't care about voltage. (The insulation does care about voltage, but they're all rated to handle up to at least 300v). Same with terminal strips (multiple sockets). In either case, you're problem is not handling the voltage, but handling the different plug styles from one country to the next. In the UK, the prong are round, where in Japan, the prongs are bladed.

I know that this probably isn't the best for the MRX-M100, but it's all I had or what I could afford at the time. The main thing I wanted to ask was is this bad for the amp, and what would it be like if I had 0 gauge coming off the battery so then it would be 4 gauge going to the amps? Would it be louder? Could I turn it up higher? because right now if I turn up the volume past a certain point the subs will just stop playing. If I just shut off my head unit and turn it back on they start up again. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!

- Q:I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs..i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. - 250 watt power cord? Where are the fuses which are being blown? Maybe you put in the wrong fuses or the wrong amperage fuse.
