I suggest buying the phone in stores and then calling Virgin Mobile from your home phone for them to help set it up. If you cannot get to a store, then I don't believeeeee money will be lost on your account, but I would call them to make sure. And even if money is lost, you can always easily replenish it.

i think basically,phones from foreign nations have an inbuilt sim-card that can auto detect available netwoks.have u started using the phone?if not then i think u should consult a qualified person for breaking the seal of the sim card.only then u will be able to access the indian netwoks.the sim card must be holding the list of the netwoks from england and america.tats what is the list you are talking about in the my networks list.

Definately the Shuttle!! Here is why the Shuttle is better: (+) Shuttle camera is 1.3 megapixel camera, Slash is just VGA (+) Shuttle can record video, Slash cannot (+) Shuttle is 3G speed and uses EVDO (this is Virgin Mobile's first EVDO 3G phone) (+) Shuttle has a music player (Slash does not) (+) Shuttle has removable memory, Slash does not (+) Shuttle is much quicker than Slash This is why the Shuttle is better :-) If you are planning of getting either one of these, it would be best to get the Shuttle, the higher price is worth it. I am planning on getting one!!

You would have to get a code from tmobile they would obain it to switch your att phone to tmobile they may charge you for a sim card it usually takes a couple of days to get the code just go to the store

don't get a tmobile dash or wing. from the people over at the PBD forums they said the phones freeze too much (probably because of windows mobile). i myself have a sidekick lx and the sidekick gekko/2008. the sidekick is probably your best choice. its a great multitasking device. you can be texting someone, be on aim/msn/yahoo, browsing the internet, and listening to music all at the same time and the phone wont lag at all. and all your information and things on your phone will be backed up by dangers servers so nothing is ever lost (phone contacts, emails, texts, settings, etc.). they have a great keyboard that no other phone can beat. The moodlights of course, and the keyboard also lights up along with the moodlights now. but if your looking for a lighter phone with all the LX features (except the moodlights) get the sidekick 2008/gekko. it lets you customize your own shells or make your own with online using your own pictures. in addition to that, its also A LOT lighter than any other sidekick. and also the sidekick has the cheapest data plan of all phones (which saves some money). its only $19.99 for unlimited text/picture messaging, internet, and instant messaging, and keeps you backed up by dangers servers. i suggest getting insurance for it $4.99. any other questions, feel free to contact me. xD

OK, it's either a prepay deal, or a monthly bill. Prepay is probably easier for you to manage. You decide what you'll spend; say $5, ?10, whatever. Then you go into a shop or use an ATM and pay that amount upfront, before you ring anyone. You now have credit of 5, 10, whatever, until you use it up by making calls or sending texts. The calls will each cost more, so keep them brief : ) Many networks have a deal where if you are Prepay and run out of credit, you can text a friend or parent for free to call you instead. Monthly deals mean that the calls you make are cheaper, each. You agree to pay say ?30 per month for maybe 100 minutes, ringing people. If you make calls and stay on for longer than 100 minutes that month, the price of the call goes up a lot per extra minute, and they bill you for more than ?30. If you use less than 100 minutes, you still pay that ?30. You can ask them to recommend you a deal based on how many minutes you spend on the phone so that you get it right. How do people afford a mobile? They text each other instead of making calls.
