I love the I phone. Sprint is supposed to get the I phone 5 in October. T Mobile is merging with att so it is not a good idea to sign a contract with them. There are many complaints with the T Mobile phones.I hope that this helps.

mobile phone numbers are highly govt protected so there probably isn't a search to find out the owner of the cell like there is a way to find the owner of a land line. plus, there are so many people who have cell phones but they are in other people's name, ie: their parents, siblings, etc. the best way: call and ask

Q:I got my T-Mobile phone and plan less than a month ago and then moved to college in Merced, CA and I noticed that I don't get service inside any of my school building or dorm and it's really inconvenient. My phone won't even tell me when I have missed calls. I have to go outside to talk. It won't even let me send a text or receive one. My roommate has ATT and her reception is fine so I was hoping that since I didn't get my contract too long ago it would be easier to switch it. Help

Yes you can still keep your tmobile number. When you cancel with tmobile, tell them you want to port it to another carrier. Then when you're signing up with ATT, there should be an option asking if you have any numbers from another carrier you want to transfer over. Hope that helps.

Q:I have tried to send SMS messages using Yahoo messanger to my friend's mobile phone in India, both from Yahoo Messenger on my phone and my computer. He rarely receives the messages. Also, I have received notification of only one his messages on my mobile phone but couldn't open it to read it, and I have only received a handful of messages from him to my computer. If you have Motorola Mobile Phone Tools, you need to have some means of connecting the phone to the computer. You have three choices - Infrared, Cable and Bluetooth. Also, you need to have your phone enabled to allow data transfer. If you have Cingular service, this is enabled already, if Verizon, then you will have to get the data transfer unlocked. Once data transfer is unlocked, the Phone Tools program will walk you through the setup for the phone. If you can't figure this out, then you need to study the help file for the program and learn how to use it. I would normally be happy to tell you how to use it, but not knowing your computer and your phone, I can't. No you can't at this time. It might be possible in the future as Sprint just bought out Virgin Mobile as of last month and they will take at least another six months integrating the two operations. Right now, Sprint only allows Sprint phones and Virgin Mobile only allows Virgin Mobile phones Btw, Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint network ANYWAY, maybe you want to just buy a Virgin Mobile phone and run it on Virgin Mobile seeing as it is the same as Sprint (except for no roamingbut if Sprint is the only network that works in your area anyway, roaming is not an issue because that involves other carriers besides Sprint.). Virgin Mobile has better prices then Sprint anyway. If you are stuck with the Sprint plan, find a cheap used Sprint phone via Craigslist or OKorder and make sure that the esn/electronic serial number is clean (email the seller on OKorder and find out what the number is first, call Sprint customer care and check to make sure it is clean/not stolen/lost or has money owed to Sprint on it). If it is good to go, buy it. You should be able to activate it on Sprint.

My boyfriend and I both have T-Mobile. He has the blast and I had the Nokia 5310 (i recently upgraded to the G1.) The blast is an ok phone. The battery life is not anything amazing but it is ok. I really liked my Nokia 5310. It was compact, had a great music player and it had a long battery life. I know its not a slider phone but you should really check it out. They also have them on sale for $50, just at your budget!

Easy answer. If the phone has been reported lost, the ESN stays bad, until the original owner clears it. If the phone has been reported, the ESN stays bad until the original owner clears it. If the phone was under contract and the contract was broken, and ETF was not paid, the ESN stays bad until the original owner or the new owner pays the ETF and or final bill. I don't know very many second had owners stupid enough to pay the original owners final bill or ETF. But of which are often more than the phone is worth. But if the original owner pays it, no big deal. So as you note the THEME here, it's forever, unless the original owner who the phone was registered to, calls in or goes into a Virgin Mobile store WITH ID, to take care of whatever reason the phone's ESN is considered BAD.
