I was able to get 1,000 minutes for $100 and when I buy more minutes, I get about 15% more. If I bought, for example, 50 minutes, it would automatically be boosted to 65. You can't use it with any other cell company in the US because they all use a different technology (CDMA) which is not compatible with T-Mobile hardware.
