Repeat procedure; spread remaining one-third of meat sauce over mozzarella cheeseSlowly pour 1/4 cup hot water around inside edge of dishTightly cover baking dish with 2 layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil 3Bake at 375F for 45 minutes; uncover and bake 10 more minutesLet stand 10 minutes before serving.
Q:I just moved into a house and need to add insulation to my unfinished atticPresently, there is approximately four inches of loose-fill fiberglass insulation, but I would like to increase the R-value to 49I'd rather use cellulose insulation versus fiberglass, because I heard mice and rats use fiberglass as nesting material, whereas cellulose contains chemicals (boric acid, for example) that repels such creatures.
I agree that there's no problem blowing cellulose on top of fiberglasI don't agree that Lowe's and Home Depot have crappy productsGo to the retailer and discuss what you're trying to achieveThey can help you decide how deep you want the insulationTheir machines are just fine except they must be used close to the application point because they're not as powerful as the truck mounted machines the pros useThat can be messy Now, let's address the rodent access issueMice can get in any opening the size of a dime! If your attic has proper ventilation (soffit and ridge or turbine vents, etc., or gable vents on both ends) you should be okYou need airflow through the attic because it eliminates moisture in the winter and heat in the summerSo, look around your home for gaps between facia boards and brick, gaps between trim and roofing, etc., and fill them with steel woolDon't block any intended ventsThis will not only keep mice out, but squirrels and other little critters as well.
Q:I have a welsh cross and i live in an area where it gets quite cold, some people say you shouldn't blanket your horse and some say you should What temp should i put a blanket on her? How long should i wait till i put a blanket on her? Also what brand of winter blankets would you suggest?
Keep blowing in the insulation and you could add a couple more vents on the roof.
Q:I'm trying to teach myself how to crochetEveryone says it is easy, but I just can't do it!! I can knit just fine, but crocheting is a whole other story! I thought that if I got the biggest needle I could find, it would make things easierI bought a 9mm, which I found out online is a size MI can make the basic chain stitch, but when I go back to do the first crochet, I can't get the dang needle through! Is this because I bought to big of a hook for basic yarn? What size should a beginner start out with? HELLLP! I want to be craftyLOL.
Well, in my opinion I'd say you are using way too big of a hook for worsted weight yarn (or any lighter weight than worsted weight) But I am a little confused cause you say you can't pull the hook through.using a larger hook should make it easier to put in the needle cause the chain stitch has been made biggerAnd, definately in your case if you are using a size M!! When I first started crocheting, I used a size I or JBut, I wouldn't go any smaller than that when first starting outWhen you are making your first chain stitches, make sure you are not pulling the yarn tight against the needle and over the top of the needleThis will result in an incorrect gaugeInstead, the yarn should easly (but not too loose) go over the top of th needleIt takes a lot of practice when you first start out.be patientIt's a matter of coordination and getting your hands use to dealing with yarn running through them and having a hook in your hands.
Q:i'm opening a juice bar soon and want to create a 'vitality shot'.is it possible to get your 5 portions of fruit veg into a single shot glass? If so what should i put in it and how is best to make it?Thanks!

Q:i am making a knitted baby blanket.3feet by 3feetsize 15mm needles; US 19How much yarn will I need?
No one can tell you how much yarn you will need because of all the variablesThe only person that can make a guess is YOUYou will have to make a gauge swatch - I know, but there is no other way- and measure itMake it a good size, at least 10 cm or more wide and the same tallYou will see the hand of the fabric you get (the way it feels) and know whether you need to use larger or smaller needlesDetermine the area covered by your swatch, and weigh it to determine how much yarn was usedThen determine the area of the blanket you are making (so that math we learned in school DOES have a purpose!) and using ratios, you will know how much yarn you will needThat really is the only way to know for sure Not all yarns weigh the same that are the same length, so the fibre content makes a huge differenceYou will have to do this swatch before you use ANY yarn, since they can vary so muchAs you gain experience, you will have a better idea (keep good notes) of what you will need, but actually making it is the only way you will know for certainty.
