Q:The original floor pull up the steel in the layer of cement mortar, safe?
If you are afraid of a problem, do the bottom of the paste carbon fiber, is a better way
Q:Standard cement prefabricated board load capacity is a square how many kilograms, thank you
Prefabricated floor is generally hollow board, crack is a common quality, the overall poor, the advantage is the floor thick, sound better than the cast. Many places prefabricated boards are off, but are not forced. Or according to the actual situation around, economic conditions, the general type of building to segment the solution.
Q:Bathroom remodel specialist please; What size cement board should I use for the shower walls, getting Tile?
you can install the orange sheets on the walls, over the cement board (using mortar), and install the floor pan over cement board with mortar as well. when done correctly, its 100% water tight. it even comes with a curb which you can tile over. its a great system, the floor pan is already sloped towards the drain in the centre. it would not be worth it to do a shower without it. if you do it this way, it will last and you will not risk mould or rot.
Q:Can the board be replaced by woodworking board?
Ette board is a high strength, durability and other superior performance of the fiber silicate sheet, with a variety of thickness and density, 100% does not contain asbestos and other harmful substances. For non-combustible A1 grade products. With fire, moisture, waterproof, sound insulation effect, environmental protection, installation fast, long life and other advantages. Commonly used for external wall panels, bathroom partitions, outdoor roof roof, external wall insulation board, interior decoration, smallpox, etc .; can also replace the use of gypsum board in the decoration used as a substrate.
Q:what is the difference between cement boards like hardibacker and wonderboard cemement board..?
I usually use Hardiboard on walls, but will use either on floors...I don't particularly like the way wonderboard & similar products crumble, especially with multi-cut corners. Good luck...
Q:How do I remove dried cement from door & running board?
Adhesive remover. ADDED: Oh, do you mean concrete? Good luck. Chip it off...?
Q:What is the kind of plate?
Light weight: the use of the United States rock cement board for the wall, the weight of only the same thickness of the brick wall 1/15, block the wall of the 1/10, is conducive to structural seismic, and can effectively reduce the basic and structural cost.
Q:Has anyone used scratch coat cement and epoxy to cover walls for a shower?
If you mean instead of tile, remember that unless you plan to paint it - concrete or cement is not waterproof. Think of a concrete pool - it requires periodic painting (maintenance). There are a lot of thin solid surface products out there if you do not want to look of tile. Tiling is not that hard as long as you prepare properly and take your time. There are alot of site with tiling guidelines out there - the important thing is to install/prepare the surface properly and seal the grout when you are done.
Q:Do you know that light through the cement? What is the material and how to do it?
Litracon is a widely used new building material with light transmission properties. It is a compound of fiber and fine grinding cement that can be used to produce construction and installation of prefabricated blocks and cement boards. As the fiber size is small, so as a new ingredient mixed with the cement together to form a collection. Therefore, the final not only in the cement is mixed with two components of glass fiber only, but in the internal structure and the surface can achieve a balanced effect of new building materials. From thousands of optical fibers in parallel between the two sides of the cement block to form a policy. The proportion of fibers is very low (4%) throughout the cement block. In addition, because the fiber size is very small, so become a cement structure of a collection of components, cement block surface or uniform cement. In theory, the light-permeable cement block can be built with a few meters of thickness of the wall, because the fiber in principle, within 20 meters will not lose any light information. The fiber does not affect the high capacity of the cement, so in these cement blocks can build any load of the building structure. The light-permeable cement block can be produced in a different size, and a heat-insulating layer can be added thereto.
Q:how do i attach cement backerboard to an existing drywall that's textured?
If you are putting in cement board to put up tile, you need to remove the drywall from the area that you will be hanging the board in. The backerboard should go directly on the stud. This is for two reasons: 1) The backerboard, as you know, is heavy. If you have drywall inbetween, the screws will not hold as well. 2) If you put it over the drywall, it will stick out from the wall, and the edge of your tile will not be flush with the existing wall. In my opinion, demo is the funnest part of home improvement! Just take a hammer to the existing drywall, knock a hole in it and pull hard. You may need to use a SawzAll (reciprocating saw) to get a nice edge, but make sure you know whats behind the wall before you start cutting. Stop demoing at a stud on either side, so that you have something to screw the cement board to. As a side note: I have tiled over drywall with no ill effects. Just scrape it smooth, apply the mastic, and go. Cement board is safer in a bathroom, but really only a requirement for floor tile. Good luck.
