Q:What is the best way to clean a carpet?
Steam clean it. Buy one, rent one or hire a professional. They are perfectly fine on carpets. I have my own steam cleaner and it's gets used constantly. Don't waste your money on scotch guard products. They are surface only and once you wipe up a spill or clean the carpet, the scotch guard is gone. Probably one of the most over rated products on the market. The main things that harm carpet are not cleaning regularly, not vacuuming regularly or choosing the wrong carpet pad.
Q:How do you get coke a cola stains off a rug?
stop using chemicals.... they will most likely set the spot in(assuming that hasn't already happened). Carbon tetrachloride and peroxides are notorious for this. use a white rag that is damp with non-ammonia windex... rub in a circle and blot. if this doesn't work, leave it to a pro. extraction is key. you need to remove the soda, not add detergent.
Q:What do you call this type of rug?
Q:Hand made scrap rug?
Hmmm. Not a seamstress, nor do I care to be, but I have one that I enjoy, and has lasted for 3 years, but it was machine made, and as a Rag Rug, was stitched, not knotted. Actually a pretty decent project though, for using scrap fabric, much like a braided oval/round rug. Perhaps you might find in a fabric retailer, a Mesh type, stiff material/substance, similar to that used in small yarn craft kits, but in a larger size? Just my two sense
Q:how to remove real strong cat urine in rugs?
Baking soda works well to eliminate surface (but not deeply penetrated) odors. You can also try white vinegar.
Q:how can i get dry poop stain out of my carpets?
a few drops of cleaning agent Simple Green upon it, then rinse with boiling water to spread fully clear the stain. a towel used to dry it. the heat of boiling water helps to dry area, step on it with your foot or feet. will only take a few minutes. have done it several times myself.
Q:Questions about rugs?
I use a 1200D winter blanket with extra insulation on cold days, and a 600D winter blanket with regular insulation all day, every day, beginning february to start help them shedding out. He also get's a hood, but it gets checked and adjusted several times/day as they can become a hazard. During summer days, my horse get's a fly scrim with UV protection, and a night he get's a polar fleece rug with double front enclosures and crossunder belly straps (which becomes a royal pain to keep clean, but it keeps him warm and cozy at night.) After showers or getting sweaty, he get's a square polar fleece sheet that just loops on the halter and in front of the neck. Rainy/drizzly days he gets a water proof turnout, and on cold rainy days he gets the polar fleece underneath the water proof turnout. I get lots of rugs and sheets and blankets from reining, so he has quite a variety for all weather conditions. For other horses that don't get checked several times throughout the day, I would suggest not blanketing unless necessary. A lot can go wrong with blankets, and horses are always getting in trouble haha
Q:How can i keep my area rug to lay flat and stop wrinkling up on my carpet?
Rug Corner Weights
Q:Invisibility or magic carpet?
Have you notified the Pentagon about this world-altering question? If the magic carpet only goes that slow it kinda sucks, but being PERMANENTLY invisible would suck even more(even though you cud totally mess with people and you wouldnt have to wear anything!)SO id totally choose the magic carpet, cause you could just fly over to the fridge during ad breaks!!
Q:Carpet Buying Guide - Smart Buyer Guide With Carpet Buying Tips?
Carpet Buying Secrets by Laura Adams (also known as Insider Secrets to Buying Floor Covering) -- It's the best carpet buying guide I know and also the most current on tips and trends. I work as an Interior Designer, so buying carpets 'smartly' is part of my job. The reason I like this guide is because - (1) It addresses safe buying practices for both professionals and home owners, and (2) It tells you some little-known secrets about buying carpets that the store salesman might just forget to tell.. or may not want you to know about.
