Q:if you want more detail just ask :)
Floating here means getting their teeth done. But from what I have read it can also mean hauling. If that is the case I would recommend getting something lighter you don't want a big winter blanket on especially if they get stressed while moving and sweat. I also recommend wrapping his legs for protection.
Q:im a new rider, and next week i will got my first pony. i wanna buy some rugs for him. Couly you introduce different rugs and good brands.im in UK.xx
Is he coming with any rugs? See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.
Q:We are moving into a new apartment soon and I am shopping for some new things for it. I have already purchased slipcovers in a flax color for my couch and chair and we are going to get a black coffee table and black end tables and black tv stand (etc, pretty much everything else black, thank goodness I was able to compromise a different couch color!!!)
some paint shops sell tester pots of paints in trouble-free terms $3 or $4 each and each stable thank you to purpose out the colors you are able to attempt different colors of gold as a exchange of yellow. different colors of gold will pass properly including your plant life, and is greater relaxing than yellow stable success!
Q:What do you mean by the number and the needle step of the carpet?
Row number, as the name suggests, is the line, line, line of carpet, such as a single layer, double layer of the two lines, multi layer, multi line, and so on. If a carpet pattern and process is very complex when there will be a single line, multi line doping, both positive and negative, alternate variety of law. Sometimes in order to effect, can be multi stack weaving, that is, weave a layer, and then weave a layer of this meaning.
Q:What color does the red carpet have on the stage?
1, a patterned coat, do not match the same pattern of shirts and neckties.2, stripes or patterns to coat with plain trousers.3, the color of shoes should be in harmony with the color of clothes4, trouser legs can not be too short, otherwise it will give the center of gravity unstable feeling, but also lose dignity.5, inside and outside the two sets of clothing, the color is best with the color or contrast, and match it will be more flavor.
Q:My carpet has a mystery stain. It's very sticky and black and ground in. I have tried goo gown and soap and water. I need some sort of heavy duty carpet cleaning suggestions.
Hello, Adding soap to the sticky and black ground in mystery stain is just making it worse. You are adding a surfactant (Soap) that gets sticky when it dries. You need to find out if the stain is a oil ( like food dropped ) or sugars like soda pop. First thing you want to do is get rid of the soap residue. If you have a wet dry vac. Get club soda and pour it onto the stick black ground in mystery stain. Use a soft shoe brush and start brushing the stain. If it is turning foamy you have to get DEFOAMER. Spray it on the carpet till you do not get any foam on your brush. (It cuts soap bonds so you can get the soap residue off the carpet). Keep adding club soda. Extract the club soda from the carpet. The black and sticky should start to go away. You should be left with just the original stain, or it should be gone. If you have no foamy residue and it still is sticky you need a solvent because it is an oil based spot. I don't know where you live but if you look in your local yellow pages for Carpet Cleaning Supply stores you can get Defoamer and Solvents to clean the carpets. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SOLVENTS USE AS LITTLE OF THE SOLVENT AS POSSIBLE. IT CAN DELAMINATE THE CARPET IF YOU USE TOO MUCH. (seprate the carpet backing from the fiber) Solvents will desolve glue. Robert
Q:How can the wood floor urine stains be removed?
Remove urine stains with a sponge dipped in cold water. Wet the sponge pad gently, wipe it gently from the middle edge of the urine stain, or immediately dilute the urine with soda water. Apply some water detergent and a few drops of ammonia water at the urine stain. Silk and wool are not to be treated with ammonia Cover urine stains with a water absorbent pad impregnated with a water-based detergent. Cover time enough to clear all urine stains. When the absorbent pad absorbs urine stains, replace it. To maintain the water pad and urine stains are soaked with water-based detergents and ammonia. Then rinse with clean water (that is, pass the stain in the past, remove some of the dye and detergent residue), urine stains, and then daub some water detergents and a few drops of white vinegar. Wash the fabric clean with water and repeat the process as needed. Last dry. When handling carpet, use Stain-X carpet detergent, Up&Out (not wool fabric) or Afta carpet detergent after all procedures.
Q:Can anyone tell me if it is tacky to use a large carpet remnant as an area rug rather than buying a regular rug? I'm on a pretty tight budget, and I need a LARGE (10x10 ish) rug for our living room. Regular rugs that large are several hundred dollars. What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Not tacky! I was wondering about the edges though... Will they look worn out after some time? I guess it depends on the quality of the carpet. Have you considered buying a used rug? Check out second-hand shops, Salvation Army shops, garage sales ect - plus ads in the local newspaper. Or you could place an ad yourself?
Q:I have a white fluffy rug, I assume its meant to represent sheepskin. I have no idea how to clean it! Know what Im talking about? Does anyone have any ideas?
stick it in a duvet cover tie a knot in the cover so the rug wont fall out. put it on a cool wool wash. when you take it out of the washer fluff up the fur with ur hand and a hairdryer gently then drape over a radiator to dry fluffy side facing up ! (when it comes out the washer it will look a raggy mess so you have got to fluff it up with the hairdryer.
Q:Every inch of the carpet is soaked!
If done by some one who was thinking water might become a problem in a basement, they will have installed a carpet that can be used in a situation you have described. Have you a remnant go to some carpet place and ask and look at those carpets that are displayed to determine your situation. I say your OK.If its loose laid (that is not glued ) rent a wet or dry vacuum and suck up all the water you can. then place whatever you can under the carpet to allow it to drain more and place a fan so it can blow under it if possible if you can't get it up for what ever reason just keep the fan and wet or dry vac working.
