- Q:In sims bustin out people are always saying in order to get married you need a love rug. I look at everything in buy/build mode. Do you have to unlock? Can someone please tell me where to find the love rug?
- You do not need to buy a rug in order to get married. There is a bear skin rug in buy mode / decorative that you can relax on and make-out. To get married in Bust Out mode, you just need to be in good relationship and in love with someone from the Tootie or Frootie household. Then you can just ask them to marry you. If they are hungry, need to pee, etc. they may refuse. If you are in Freeplay mode, 2 adult sims already in the same household cannot get married, but you can ask sims in a different house to marry you if there are 3 or fewer sims in the household already. Freeplay has a 4 sims per house limit.
- Q:Should the couch sit on top of the rug completely or should the rug be in front of the couch?
- for that large of a room, you could have a floating arrangement - if that is the case, the rug should be large enough to come out past each piece of furniture by nearly 2 feet. if you have part of your furniture grouping against a wall, the rug should go approximately halfway under the sofa (and everything else). if a tv is a factor (which likely means it has to be against a wall), it is appropriate to have the rug tuck under the tv cabinet a little bit, or for the rug to end a little bit before the cabinet/console/whatever. that's the best i can do without seeing the room and drawing a space plan! hope it helps

- Q:If I were to knit a throw rug, what size needles and what type of yarn would work best for the project?
- You can use any size yarn, but I'd opt for a larger needle. I made a purse out of strips of fabric I had left over from a quilting project. I simply knit every row until it was the size I wanted. It would have been great as a rug if I'd had enough fabric, but it had a great rag look to it! I think I used HUGE needles, size 19 or 35 to make it. This was a lot of fun, and the project was made VERY quickly!
