- The speakers behind your rear seats should be 6x9 speakes I'm not sure though. The price range varies though. I say to get a decent pair of speakers it will cost like 50-60 dollars. Check Amazon or OKorder once you know the speaker size.

- THE SPEAKER SIZE THAT WILL FIT ON THE FRONT AND BACK DOORS AND REAR DECK IS 6 1/2. YOU PROBABLY WON'T NEED ANY BRACKETS SINCE MOST SPEAKERS COME WITH EXTRA TABS TO SCREW THEM IN. YOU COULD BUY A SPEAKER WIRE HARNESS FOR ABOUT $10 FOR THE PAIR WHEN CONNECTS STRAIGHT TO YOUR OLD SPEAKER WIRE OR YOU COULD CUT THE OLD SPEAKER WIRE HARNESS OFF AND BUY SOME WIRE ENDS AND CONNECT IT STRAIGHT TO THE SPEAKERS.

- It means the horn on the speaker with only bass sounds is blown. The horn itself is ok but what is blow is called the compression driver - it is the part attached to the horn inside the speaker. Getting the replacement driver is the hard part - you will need to try the Peavey website.
- Q:I have a relatively small speaker that has a treble and a bass, the treble speaker works but the bass does not is there a way for me to fix this? The bass speaker is not ripped and everything seems like it should work but does not. It speaker has a standard speaker wire thats red and black that fits in the stereo that i have. I have verified that the stereo is not the problem by switching the wires between the 6 different connections the stereo has.
- What sometimes happens to a speaker is the little braided wire from the terminal to the voice coil fractures. That fracture might be corrected with a small amount of solder applied just where it's broken to rejoin it. If the actual voice coil itself is burned out, the speaker is toast. Very expensive and high quality speakers can be re-coned and get a new voice coil and that is pretty expensive and specialized and not worth doing to a book shelf speaker.

- can i'm getting a hell no from the yahoo answer stay objective marketplace. ok in all extreme 12 gauge is in no way ever ever adequate for 900 watts rms in a distance of over possibly 3 ft . choose for good high quality 4 gauge like RF or Streetwires, knukoncepts. a 12 gauge twine for that plenty skill will soften in approximately 10-20 minutes and blow fuses like no person's company
- Q:I got an akai as-980 quadraphonic reciever. It works but I know nothing about the speaker system. They have to have 4 wires I'd guess because there are 6 speaker inputs with 4 plugs for each speaker. What are they called and are these speakers hard to find? Cam anyone shed some light on this? - hi matt hippie.the akai as-980 is a four channel stereo tuner/amplifier the four speaker plug/connectors are for connecting your speakers in a way what they called matrix four channel stereo.and the two speaker plug/connectors are for a two channel stereo connectionso you can run these speakers either way as i've just explained.hope this helps you out in some way matt and merry xmas!
- Q:I found what I think are real nice 6x9 speakers: Pioneer TS-A6993R. I need a pair of 5x7 speakers for the front. What kind of speakers would match? Do they have to have the same RMS even though I can use two different amps? Also a different pair I found for the rears are the Pioneer TS-A6963R. Do the fronts and rears have to have around the same RMS to sound the same or just the frequency? I want treble the sound the best it can possibly sound.
