Q:ok so i wired the subs to the amp now, the positive (Red) goes to the battery, the ground (Black) is currently grounded to the metal under my drivers seat. My question is does it matter the color wire is that goes to the stereo? Can i use a red or black? Does it really matter? If not, where exactly would i hook it up behind my aftermarket sony headunit?
I was once considering of tapping into the 12v constant on the HU like I do in 95% of the installs i've ever achieved. Are you talking about the far flung wire connection? If so, you commonly mean the accessory wire, now not the steady wire; and to be able to be a hindrance within the Trailblazer in view that there is no accent energy wire in the radio harness. I might recommend using a line output converter that has a developed-in trigger circuit, so it will flip the amp on when it detects an audio signal coming from the head unit. There's no excellent position to connect a faraway wire in a Trailblazer with a manufacturing facility head unit. You could hook up with the accessory vigour output on the key change harness (a thick brown wire) however then the amplifier will flip off with the important thing, alternatively of staying on unless the door is opened like the radio does. The Motorola box is for the Onstar procedure, and there isn't a motive to do something with it at all. Sixteen feet of vigor wire maybe sufficient or would now not; depends upon where you position the amp. The battery and firewall access is on the motive force's part, so in case you maintain the amp on the driver's aspect of the vehicle, you'll in most cases have ample wire.
Q:I want to get an underground fence but i cant figure out what the difference in the wire they use and regular insullated wire. What is the difference and why can't i use regular wire instead of the wire that comes with the kit

Q:I just bought a set of performance sparkplug wires for my 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I went to install them and my engine is now misfiring like one of the wires in not connected. I have made sure all of the wires are on tight and in place. The wires did not come numbered so i just put them on according to size. What could be the problem???
I would beleive you have them incorrectly. the cylinders are numbered 1234 from the passenger side to the drivers side. check to make sure they are on the right cylinders. If its a DIS ignition the coils are numbered.
Q:do i need a different wire for in-wall speakers or a regular speaker wire
If you are installing in-wall wire, look for wire with CL3 or in-wall insulation. The wire is not the issue, but the CL3 means the plastic insulation around the wire is fire-resistant and wont act like a fuse to spread a fire. Many fire codes require this. Some of the Carol brand from Home Depot is CL3 rated or buy a spool of 12 ga from PartsExpress.
Q:the ground wire came loose and touched the power wire for a second and created a big spark . the fuses aren't blown what else can i check or fix because the amp won't turn on now.
i think it might be fried... probably going to be to hard to fix it
Q:How do electric and other companies decide on strung wires in consideration of snowfall?
The spec on the wires includes enough strength to handle reasonable loads, such as snow and wind and ice. Actually snow is a very light load, compared to ice and wind. Usually they are a steel core with aluminum around it. The aluminum handles the current, the steel the mechanical loads.
Q:i am installing a headunit, i connected all the wires the match, but i have some left over that i am confused about. from the wires that plug into the radio there is the antenna wire, the remote wire, and the ground with a washer to screw it down, and from the other is set of wires is a solid orange wire, which i have no idea where it goes to. so i connected the remote to the orange wire and didn't hook up the antenna to anything, and bolted down the ground wire. I'm wondering why i have 2 ground wires, and what the orange wire is and what do i connect to it?
if its basically static, your audio gadget are effective, verify that not one of the wires are touching, whether its basically one + touching a - the entire gadget will sound undesirable (different than for the sub which gets its sign from a different source. verify at the back of the cd participant and in case you're able to desire to get rid of each and each speaker a million by using a million.
Q:When you electromagnetize a nail with wire coiled around it, then connect it to a small battery, how come it works when the wire has been been insulated,..... and what if you were to use uninsulated wire.
If the wire were uninsulated, then the coils of wire would short circuit. This would bypass the current and no magnetising would occur. Although a wire with current passing through it has a magnetic field, coiling the wire concentrates the magnetic field. When you put the nail in the coil it couples this field and the random magnetic particles align forming a magnet.
Q:Are toast - previous owner did a bad amp install on them and there is basically no wire left to use for mine.Is it possible to run a radio power wire/remote wire from the fuse panel back to the radio? If so can i just shove the wire in the fuse holder then stick the fuse back in on top of it?((Fuse 8 is the mustangs radio fuse))
Never wire anything into your fuse box, that will defeat the purpose of having it. You will have to do what's called a hard wire. You will need to run all new wires, which is the safest way to do it, with all proper fusing. A constant +12, a switched +12 and a ground is all you need for the radio to work, and all new speaker wires. If you can find one in a junkyard, you might be able to find a new harness to repair the OEM one, and that would really help you out. Good luck!
Q:On what actually does ampere depends, thickness of wire or number of turns of wire or what else? Electrical
ampere depends on the number of turns..........
