Q:Stick vacuum recommendations?
Stick vacuums come in cordless as well as standard plug-in models and while not having an electric cord adds to the versatility of the tool, it does mean pricey battery replacements, less power performance and recharging energy use. There's also the local availability of battery replacements that should be considered before buying a cordless vacuum. To decide whether a cordless model is right for your home, consider where you'll keep it and whether a plug-in is readily located. If a hands-off type of surface cleaning tool is more to your liking, a robot vacuum may be something to consider. Although much more expensive than a stick vacuum, a robot can do the job while you're out. If you don't like using a broom or mop to sweep or just want to shorten cleaning time, a stick vacuum is a quick way to clear crumbs and dirt from the dining or kitchen floor.
Q:fear of Vacuum cleaners?
we had a dog that had this... she would always go and run and hide under the bed... but she was a BIG dog... I mean, the bed had 2 legs up in the air and was quivering with her breathing
Q:My 5 year old is scared of the vacuum is this normal?
Obviously most of the people who answered previously know nothing about children.. I have little sisters, and TONS of little cousins. Yes, fears of vaccums are actually rational because they know little about them except it is unknown and makes loud noises. So, a summary....Yes. I don't even HAVE kids and I know that. I was scared of the weirdest things as a child. I was scared of going under bridges and stuff because I was afraid it would fall on my car. Yea, your child is exhibiting fear.
Q:what is the best upright vacuum cleaner under $300.00?
Sharp.
Q:Are vacuum cleaners that use micro-filters nearly as good as HEPA filters?
Bag less are terrible regardless of the hype. Check out a vacuum cleaner called a Sanitaire....they might have a web site A cleaner is different that a sweeper. A true cleaner actually lifts the carpet so air can move through it and clean deeper and better. Vacuum sweepers pickup far less. You will be much happier with a bag type. I have a Dyson and it is awful. Rethink the bag less idea. you will be sorry if yo buy one
Q:What are some good upright vacuums?
Perhaps You should try a canister style vacuum. I recommend the Shark pet perfect vacuum. Fairly inexpensive, $150. I got mine at Canadian tire, but I,m sure you can find it at other stores. Its the best vacuum I,ve ever had, and I had spent a fortune on a Kirby, years ago.
Q:I have an oreck vacuum cleaner..is there a place that takes old vacuum cleaners?
If it's in good working condition, you could clean it up a bit, and donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army donation stations. If it's broken or in poor shape, you could try to call your local vacuum repair shop to see if they are interested in picking it up for parts.
Q:What Are The Best Quality Vacuums In The Market? ?
Don't get a Dsyon. Costs to much or is cheaply made. We brought ours home and true nearly sucked the carpet off the floor but has already broken once and (if you ask me) is losing suction. Buy an old Hoover, I mean an OLD Hoover. Those go forever and are dirt cheep.
Q:How well do Irobot vacuum cleaners work?
A co-worker of mine and his wife hasve one for their hard wood floors and loves it. They periodically have to do a heavier cleaning, but for the most part he and she wouldn't want to live without it.
Q:Abs max in calculus( Biz calc)?
You are on the right track. We can find a linear equation to predict the number of vacuums that will be sold at any given price. At $100 it is 800. At $103, it is 794. Think of this data as two points on a line. The points are (100,800) and (103,794). Find the equation of the line. y=1000-2x. The Revenue generated is the number sold * the price. y is the number sold and x is the price. R=x*y=x*(1000-2x) R(x)=1000x-2x² R'(x)=1000-4x The critical number is when R'=0 == 1000-4x=0 == x=250 So, it looks like we should charge $250 per vacuum. Is this really a maximum? R''(x)=-4. The Second Derivative Test tells us that our value is a maximum. This makes sense. The revenue function is a parabola that opens downward with a vertex at (250,125000), The price is $250 and the revenue is $125000.
