Q:Would you like to be able to shop with stone flooring?
Stone flooring affect the heat to heat 10-30%, is not conducive to energy conservation
Since it glued to the floor as you say,it has to be a wood flooring. Minor scratches can be touched up with a stain or a touch up pencil. You may have to do some urethane but thats hard to do in small spot and have to look good. Pergo is more into the floating floor ( laminates) line of flooring. If it is a laminate, then there is nothing that can be done to hide scratches. Chair leg protectors and theres several types are good or a area rug to protect the the floor. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q:Anybody still use floor speakers?
Floor speakers seem to be limited now to the audiophiles among us, it is simply impossible to reproduce the fidelity of a full range speaker set. I can however give you a notable reason why floor speakers are less popular today though. Floor speakers require a powerful amplifier and they get very loud, the inherent problem with this, is that rather then just for music these days, people use receivers for home theater, proper surround sound works on the premise that there is a sizable balance between rear and front channels and very few affordable setups come with a rear and center channel that can balance a large high wattage front set.
Q:When you replace flooring...?
Q:How much is the floor loss? Who is it?
0.3 loss calculated by the owner. The The
Q:floor jack vs hydraulic jacks?
The others have said it correctly. A floor jack is a hydraulic jack, but not all hydraulic jacks are floor jacks. There are bottle jacks which you place in a spot and jack them up and floor jacks which have wheels to move them around easier. Floor jacks also usually lower to a lower level than bottle jacks and have a larger gripping surface plate that holds the vehicle much more securely. A floor jack also can not tip over the way a bottle jack can. (or sink into soft ground as easily) The 2 ton or larger is usually a good size and a set of jack stands are a good additional safety item to go with the jack. They will hold the vehicle up in case the jack loses its hydraulic fluid through a leak or simply not being locked in the up position properly. A floor jack also positions the pumping lever further away from the parts that actually lift the vehicle. This allows it to be pumped up from beside the vehicle vs a bottle jack where you have to pump the handle while under the vehicle.
Q:How to calculate the general loss of the installation of wood flooring?
In the actual use of housing on the basis of the area with about 8% of the loss
Q:seam in laminate flooring?
wooden style floor but not the snap together type??would this actually be a tongue and groove hardwood floor??if it is,and its warped, your screwed.
Q:What is the best flooring for less slipping?
Most flooring is fine . But i think it is the wax and in some cases if you use wood less slipping will occur but more scratches.
Q:Feedback regarding cork flooring?
Hi, Cork is a durable product as the Chicago's First Congregational Church has had its floor since 1890. It is a comfortable and warm floor due to its cellular structure. This structure makes it also reduce sound transmission making it a great choice where you want to minimize noise. Cork has a natural substance in it that makes it resistant to insects and mold perfect for those with allergies. It is a natural and green flooring product.
