Q:My rug always rolls up...?
This Double sided tape may or may not hurt your rug. Usually, you'd do more damage to the floor with this than you would with the rug. Depending on what type of carpet it is, you almost always can use some dry cleaning solution such as afta to remove any residue. Otherwise, they do have these vinyl straps which may help you out a little if they're stitched onto the rug. What they sometimes do is depending on the thickness of your rug, they add weight. best of luck
Q:How often should you vacuum carpet?
It's not necessary to vacuum everyday. I don't think it's a problem if you DO vacuum everyday though. I vacuum once every week or two because I don't make huge messes that require vacuuming. Another thing you can do is vacuum a specific area. Like vaccum the rug your animals play on every 2 or 3 days just to keep it fresh. But as for bedrooms and hallways, it's not necessary to vacuum so much.
Q:how to tell when or when not to put a rug on?
Personally, I'd have her in a rug right now. I'm in Scotland and both mine are in middleweights - its dropping to near 0 degrees at night already and I wake up to frost. When she gets clipped she MUST have some form of rug on with weight in it unless its gorgeous weather - when you take away their coat its like taking away our clothes and expecting us to stand in the cold - we can't heat ourselves up and so we get cold very quickly. This is what I said for another answer. Weather for no rugs / fly rugs - HOT weather with no / little breeze. Weather for a rainsheet - Rain but no wind. Weather for a lightweight - Rain with wind, or just wind. Weather for a mediumweight - Rain with a lot of wind, just wind or cold temperatures (basically, as I don't feel the cold, the minute I need to be putting on a jacket is mediumweight weather) Weather for a heavyweight - The coldest it gets. Snow. Below freezing temperatures. Last year in the worst of it I did put a heavyweight stable rug under a heavyweight turnout, it got that cold.
Q:What is the difference between an area rug and an accent rug?
An Area rug is generally to cover a wood floor and is for walking on; typically in the middle of the room. It is not wall-to-wall like carpet, but normally large. An accent rug is generally smaller, and used only furniture for decoration, or as a mat by a door. An accent rug is a sub-set of area rugs. All Accent rugs are area rugs, but not all area rugs are accent rugs.
Q:Red carpet?
Well, red carpets, etc, for ex, the plain bright red one's are usually used for decorating modern homes, you wouldnt find it in a room thats decorated antique-style, I have a friend who lived in NY and her apartment living room is decorated in red white. very stylish chik.. its gorgeous
Q:The carpet rubber floor is glued to the floor. How can it be removed?
Hand cream. First, the surface of the printed products tear off, and then put some hand cream on top, slowly rub with your thumb, rub for a while, you can rub the residual gum are rubbed down. Just slow down. Hand cream is a kind of grease, which is not compatible with gum. Remove glue is to use this characteristic.
Q:How can I dye an oriental rug?
You want to do this at a laundromat, biggest machine possible. in cold water, bleach the rug. It may take two tries---using the largest possible machine, try a cup of detergent and a cup of bleach, and see what happens. If you get the desired shade, or lighten it enough, then you can immediately dye it (To a darker shade, of course.) Otherwise, double or triple the bleach, no detergent, and run it again. You may put additional bleach in the compartment where the fabric softener goes, and it will bleach it again on the rinse cycle. After you dye it, as a courteousy to the next person, run it through a cycle with detergent, empty. Or you can do a load of dark, old clothes, like blue jeans. To dry it, lay it on a flat surface, turning it occasionally, and avoid direct sunlight, ideally it will be in the shade on a warm, breezy day. If indoors, dry it on an old sheet on a carpet, with a fan pointed at it, again, turning it every hour or two. Good-luck---Brian
Q:Is This A Suitable Selection Of Rugs For A Horse?
Wow thats quite a list :P but anyway i live in the UK to so i know about how cold it gets one thing i would make sure to do is that on the middleweight and heavyweight turnouts, make aure they have necks, either detachable or built in. This is because it gets cold so your horse needs to be as warm as possible also it depends on the breed of the horse but you might want a lightweight summer turnout sheet , maybe for windy days, light rain or just to keep your horse clean :) an exercise sheet is a good buy if you hack out alot or dont have an idoor school and you wont need the fly sheet until the summer as with the L/W turnout :) good luck with your horse hope this helped x
Q:Nail Polish ? Carpet . Help !?
The person above me is correct with nail polish remover.. but if that doesn't work, window cleaner works wonder as well :)
