Q:Kitchen basin basin water pipe greasy how to deal with
You can buy oil products in your local market and supermarkets, or: wherever you can buy some of the treatment agents that deal with this water pipe oil
Q:Bathroom basin water pipe wall outlet and the water that is good
It is certainly a good water, wall water a long time there will be hidden inside the hair is easy to block and bad dredge, the water is not good to engage in health, wall water is only a little beautiful, that is not good is the face of the project is not practical, And the disadvantages are, fish and bear's paw can not have both
Q:I've got a badly clogged bathroom sink. I took out the draiin cover and I can see where the water is just standing/ draining extremely slowly. I can't reach the clog, but I was able to get a wire coat hanger into it and pull out a small bit of hair (not sure how hair even got into the sink!) but it didn't do anything to speed the draning. There could be a small bit of gravel in the drain from a few months ago as well as some bits of paper (all on accident, I'd never put anything down there!). I already tried some baking soda and vinegar but it didnt help, the vinegar just made the water level raise. The water is maybe 6 or 7 inches from the drain (not in the sink, in the pipe). What should I do? Thanks for your help :)
Stop screwing around. Follow these steps: - Go to the ATM and withdraw $50 - Go to the hardware store and buy a drain snake (any decent hardware guy will point one out to you). You don't need top of the line, 25' long is plenty and it shouldn't cost too much. - While at the store pick up a decent pair of pliers. I like Channellock but any pliers about 10-12 should do the trick. - Get some rubber gloves. You'll want them. - A can of WD-40 - Go home and get under the sink. - There are a couple of nuts holding the pipes together. Loosen the ones that hold the U-shaped pipe on. NOTE: have a bowl or bucket underneath! NOTE: the large chrome nuts holding the big drain pipes! They'll be chrome or white plastic. - Run the snake up through the pipe toward the sink. turn and push. Pull it back and remove any gunk. - Run the snake through the pipe going into the wall or down through the floor. Turn and push. If it starts to get hard to turn, pull it back and remove any gunk. Go back in and repeat until you don't encounter any more difficulties. If it becomes hard to push, that may be a turn in the pipe - keep trying. - When you cannot advance any further or have inserted the entire length of the snake, but not brought back any new gunk, you're done. Job's finished. It cost you, at the outside, $50. You will NOT find a plumber that will do the job for less, and when it's over you own the tools, so the next time this happens the fix costs you nothing. Shoot WD-40 on the snake as you wind it up, and shoot more inside the can it winds up inside of. That'll keep it in good shape until next time. Good luck with it.
Q:how do you fix a hole and crack in a Porcelain bathroom sink?
I wouldnt recommend fixing a porcelain sink as there may be further hidden damages you cant detect. Thats why toilets are always replaced when a crack appears. Considering people usually exert some force on sinks and the constant temperature fluctuations from water, hidden damage may suddenly cause the sink to further crack or face a catastrophic failure (shatters or falls apart causing property or personal damage). Porcelain sinks are pretty affordable these days and would be worthwhile for you to invest in a new one to reduce your risk. Please note if you do change the sink, you will need to replace or transfer the taps to the new model, a new strainer/PO and potentially some minor changes in your drainage.
Q:My wife lost a necklace down the bathroom sink. I took off the trap (which was quite a pain) and got out the necklace. Now as I am trying to replace the parts I realize I can not replace them because all the parts are rusty and corroded. Is it easy to go get some plastic PVC pipe and replace the trap or should I get a plumber to redo the whole thing from the wall to the sink. I know virtually nothing about plumbing so I don't want to screw up and have water running in the walls and fill my wals with mold, etc.
The first rule to plumbing is if you dont know what you are doing then dont touch it. The plumber will cost you a lot of money parts and labor, and labor is around $40 and hour or more. The parts are quite cheep and easy to repair. Without looking at what you are doing it makes it a lot harder to explain or understand what is needed to be done to fix the problem. I would assess that you need a new j-bend and elbow. But I am going to say that you should call a plumber and while he is fixing that problem you should ask him about a new drain trap for the sink. One that might keep this problem from occurring again. Good luck
Q:I am 17 years old and my bathroom sink is clogged apparently with a lot of hair from a year ago and I have told my guardian a numerous amount of times that its having that problem and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible but since they arent doing anything about it then I need to take matters into my own hands and try to fix it and I dont have much money right now so this needs to also be average or cheap. Some one please help oh and tell me where I could also get it.
Elhigh has it right. Cleaning a sink is not that hard depending on the type of drain you have. Clean out underneath the sink, remove everything, put down a bucket and some towels, unscrew the device that holds the plug, the thing that keeps the water from going down the drain. Once the drain plug is out, use a flashlight to see where the obstruction is. Usually hair. I use a eight to twelve inch piece of metal coat hanger with a little hook on the end to pull the gunk out. Then I wipe the gunk off with paper towels. Just make sure the sink is not full of backed up water when you take it apart
Q:Home basin plug how to do, underwater particularly slow.
Pick up the tape again with the pumping, I used.
Q:What is the height of the bathroom basin?
The height of the bathroom basin is between 80 and 85 centimeters.
Q:How to choose the cupboard cabinet?
It is necessary to check the opening of the table counter hinge. Open the angle of 180 degrees, you can more easily pick and place items;
Q:Bathroom small pots choose what kind of good, wall length 1 m, width 60 cm, please help
You can choose a small bowl-type basin, elegant and without losing the atmosphere, suitable for small area bathroom use. General size between 40X55, just for your space like this.
