Q:LOL He barks, jumps, whines and bites at the vacuum while I am using it(and with a black GSD I do have to use it alot!!). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him used to this? When he was a puppy it did not bother him at all but as he got older, the minute it comes out of the closet he starts whining and barking at it. I have tried telling him NO as I vacuum and he will stop for a 1/2 a minute and watch it but it seems that as I am moving it back and forth across the rug he just can't help himself and he's on it again. I have tried distracting him with toys and cookies to no avail. Short of putting him outside (or in a closet JK) I don't know what to do. Anyone else who had this problem (or not) and may have some help?
He sees the vacuum as a threat to him and to you. You need to put him somewhere else where he can't hear the vacuum. No, I don't recommend the closet, but if you have a secure area outside, that would work extremely well. Outside that, a behavioral dog trainer would be your next option. Papaw
Q:the sound comes on, but it doesn't suck anything up and the thingy underneath (dont know the technical term) doesn't turn. it's an old vacuum( a kerby). what's wrong with it. should i try to get this one fixed or just buy a new one. are there places that fix vacuum cleaners? thanks for any info.
try cleaning the brushes under neath it. sometimes hairs and strings get wrapped around them. Check ur bag? u may have clogged suction hose. check yellow pages u might find a repair shop.
Q:Is Kirby Vacuum Cleaners a scam?
Yes because I had 3 days to cancel and the address to send cancellation was the wrong address. I never got a responds . So now I m paying a $2000.00 dollar loan. Wish I had got a Dyson .The Kirby vacuum is very heavy and using the attachments can be time consuming and difficult .
Q:Pun intended.
there's a narrative for this, yet i in my opinion think of Yahoo could provide me a contravention for it! enable's merely say.... my step dad became an fool and that the vacuum purifier became undesirable. My mom had a hilarious tale approximately it! LOL i think of it sucked! Haha!!
Q:Why do cats hate vacuum cleaners so much? We have three loud kids in our household, dishwasher, washing machine, motor bike etc and the cat doesn't worry. Start the vacuum cleaner and that is a whole other story. She will bolt and hide under my doona. Why do cats hate them so much and has anybody ever had or met a cat that doesn't mind vacuum cleaners?
i don't know my cat does the same thing she goes running off . I just deal with it or when i vacuum i put her in another room
Q:What's the difference between regular vacuum cleaners and water vacuum cleaners?
Question: What's the Difference Between a Vacuum and Carpet Steamer or Cleaner (If that's what you mean by water vacuums) Although some carpet steamers and cleaners do have a suction mechanism to remove the cleaning fluid and water from your carpet after cleaning the area, they should only be used for steaming or cleaning a carpet and never used as a vacuum cleaner. Answer: The term 'carpet cleaner' or shampooer used to relate to types of carpet cleaning appliances which did not have a water tank and cleaned using a cleaner in conjunction with brush action. The cleaning fluid actually stayed in the carpet to protect the fibers and was not removed, nor was any water applied. Today, the term generally means any appliance that is used to clean a carpet and carpet cleaners have changed considerably in the last few years. Today, most carpet cleaners are in fact steamers. Along with a liquid cleaning solution, hot water or steam is applied to the carpet. Brushes rotate to help lift the rug fibers and the water and solution is then extracted into a waste water reservoir that must be emptied. This allows carpets to be deep-cleaned and the water is then vacuumed by the same machine, allowing it to dry rather quickly.
Q:I am apparently having some media trust issues--commercials are DESIGNED to get us to Buy their products, and the company , if called up on will say the BEST things...so I depend on consumer experience to decide upon a number of items! I interviewed at least a dozen folks when looking for my car, at grocery lots and gas pumps, and when 100% were thrilled with their automobile, that did it for me and what the salesman said was just confirmed by my own research.Over the years I have had a dozen electric floor sweepers, and none of them have been the 'cat's pajamasquot;! So, has anyone actually HAD a Dyson, ball rolling mechanism cleaner and if so, has it justified it's $400.00 dollar price tag in your estimation? How as the suction performed and has it stayed reliable? Any details will be helpful! Thanks!
I recently went to a vacuum cleaner store ( one that repairs and sells new ones) and there were at least 15 Dysons in the back ( repair) room. I asked about them and was told they are all in for repair - they get more Dyson's that need repair than any other brand. See if you can find a place that sells Sebo. I bought a Felix. It is lightweight but sucks better than any vacuum I have ever had and has great features that I have not seen on any other vacuums. It is about $500, but will last forever. I love it!
Q:I own a VAX V-045 upright bagless vacuum cleaner. All of a sudden, the bottom/base suction doesn't work anymore. I use the hand held bit now to do all the cleaning. Can someone suggest me how to troubleshoot, change if a belt is broken or direct me to a repair manual? Thanks.
Here's okorder /... See page 8 for the changing the belt and page 10 for trouble shooting.
Q:Are there any quiet, but effective vacuums cleaners on the market. What brands?
Get a Roomba robotic floor cleaner. I love mine. It does a great job and really isnt that noisey. Oh, I did I say it does it all by its self.
Q:I AM GETTING FED-UP! (how often do we hear ourselves yelling this mantra when that Life-long warrantee on the oven means quot;the life of the Productquot;?)I am feverishly shopping to replace the DYSON(r) vacuum cleaner that I bought and used only a few times. - Is this common for Dyson (stand-up) vacuum cleaners to clog-up the air chamber commonly with the dust, debris and whever-else I clean from my carpet?Does the Dyson vacuum technology surpass its predecesor (bags)? - If so, how / which debris SHOULD I clean with this unit so it will work without my having to totally-disassemble the entire unit to wash it out so it will work?
I like the SHARK brand of sweepers today........they make all types and give you choices.......and made light weight which is a good thing. good luck. I like bag less also.......saves on some other purchases.
