Q:Manufacturing Engineering?
Look at the hand held vacuums they have in the store. If the housing is plastic, it is a 99.99% chance it is injection molded. If it is made of metal it could be extruded if it has a constant cross section along its length. Aluminum is a very common extrusion metal. I would doubt any high volume hand vac would have a forged housing, but I don't get out that much. Casting and machining is a possibility. As far as costs, it all depends on the life of the tool, and the number of cavities for a mold or a casting. If you mold/cast one part at a time it is much more expensive than two or four or eight. The more you mold at once, the bigger the molding/casting machine and the more expensive the mold/casting. So it depends on how many you want to make in a given amount of time, and how many through the life of the product. Finally, for your modification, do you have a design with drawings and a volume target? That is the first step to figuring out costs.
Q:Are bagged vacuums better when looking at low cost machines?
I okorder.com
Q:What value does Voltage indicate for vacuum suction?
You need to explain this better, it makes no sense as it is. edit: no way to know exactly. Voltage alone tells you nothing. But the power used (in watts) could be a guide, if you have that number, in watts. 1400 mA-hour is a measure of the charge stored in the battery, so that is no help, as you need a time number to convert that to mA, which, with the voltage, can give you power in watts. My experience is that hand held vacuum cleaners are all very feeble.
Q:I have carpet cleaners coming tomorrow morning. Do they vacuum before they clean, or am I supposed to do that?
Vacuum it yourself, you never assume someone else will do it, because 9 times out of 10, they don't.
Q:what are some good cheap~ish handheld vacuum cleaners?
I okorder.com
Q:Which of the following is a physical separation method and which are chemical changes? Match classsifaction?
physical separation= air filters in vacuum cleaners, oil filters in cars. chemical separation= catalytic converters in cars and boiling an egg.
Q:Vacuum cleaners - a brand similar to Dyson?
It depends on whether you really want a bagless Upright, a bagged upright or bagged canister. Dyson is the best bagless Upright. Sebo is the best Upright. Miele is the best vacuum cleaner period. Although it is a canister and if you not like canisters you may want to look at the Sebo. The Miele Callisto has an awesome SEB 217 Powerhead. It has the best edge cleaning ever. If you use this vacuum to pick up bird seed on a carpeted floor along the edges of your wall it will pick up ever piece guarantee it. You can use the powerhead on the bare floor which does a wonderful job. It has a squeegee underneath to really seal to the ground as well as all rubber wheels that will not scratch your floors. But if you want to use an even nicer tool it comes with an SBB 300-3 Floorbrush which is amazing. It has super wide holes all around and it will pick every up as well. it barely feels like you are pushing anything and it has a knuckle which allows you to twist and turn into and spot you want like behind the toilets, buffet table, couches and the floorbrush itself is low enough to get under the baseboards and kickjams. The filtration is 99.95% effective at 0.3 microns which is amazing. Thanks to its HEPA filter and super intensive clean bags the vacuum is able to achieve this kind of filtration. This a much better cleaner machine. Of course I enjoy using a canister. I bought my Miele Callisto from Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew for only $699 with free shipping and no tax (because I do not live in new york). They were wonderful to deal with and they made my shopping experience a pleasant one. Here is their number (you have to call them up to get that price because that price can not be found anywhere on the Internet): 1-800-640-8227 Tell Lisa and Joe Kevin told you about it.
Q:Do bad vacuum cleaners suck, or blow?
There's a story for this, but I really think Yahoo would give me a violation for it! Let's just say.... my step dad was an idiot and that the vacuum cleaner was bad. My mom had a hilarious story about it! LOL I think it sucked! Haha!!
Q:Are black holes really cosmic vacuum cleaners?
Somewhat but not exactly, a black hole does not use the same physics as a vacuum cleaner, a black hole is the warping of space/time caused by the mass that it contains, the attraction of matter towards a black hole is only based on how much mass and warping of space time the black hole causes. In a vacuum cleaner you always know where all the trash is going to end up, in a black hole we do not know exactly what happens inside. If a black hole does not receive matter it will eventually get rid of that matter in the form of radiation called hawking radiation, and when it radiates more energy than it consumes then it eventually evaporates.
Q:What does Consumer Reports say are the best bagless vacuum cleaners (under $200)?
I looked this up on Consumer Reports for you and this is what their report said. I can give you more facts if you would like. Hope this helps!!!
