Q:I have some dry, full, rose buds which have an enormous sentimental value to me. I would like to press them somehow, without causing damage or losing petals. Is there any method I could use to make the bud moist and then be able to press it? Any ideas...Thanks!
Pressing a DRY rosebud is just going to destroy it. I would suggest getting a container to put it in permanently. Alternatively, consider contacting a florist or floral designer to see what they would suggest about preserving it. Don't press a dry flower of any sort - you'll just end up with fragments.
Q:people are always saying that and it makes no sense, i think that you should say sign an affidavit or file charges someone explain to me how to press a charge
If you think you are the victim of a criminal offense you do this: Go to the police and make a report. Write out and sign a sworn statement or complaint. The police will investigate and speak with the state attorney. If Probable Cause exists, they offender will be arrested or an Arrest Warrant will be issued for them. Once arrested, the state attorney will file a formal charge called an Information. The person will then be arraigned and scheduled for trial. Prior to trial, the offender will be offered plea deals. They either take it or go to trial. At trial, they are either found guilty or not guilty. If found guilty the judge will sentence them according to sentencing guidelines in your state for the crime committed.
Q:when i press my leg the mark of my finger stays and does not go away. What can this be? I am anemic and I want to know if the two are related. Thanks
This could be a sign that your body is retaining to much water....Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues. Although edema can affect any part of your body, it's most commonly noticed in your hands, arms, feet, ankles and legs. Symptoms Click to enlarge Swelling of the foot, ankle and leg can be severe enough to leave an indentation, or pit, when you press on the area. This swelling (edema) is the result of excessive fluid in your tissues — often caused by congestive heart failure or blockage in a leg vein. Edema in ankleSigns and symptoms of edema include: Swelling or puffiness of the tissue under your skin (subcutaneous tissue) Stretched or shiny skin Skin that retains a dimple after being pressed for several seconds Increased abdominal size When to see a doctor Make an appointment to see your doctor if you have any of the signs or symptoms of edema, such as swelling, stretched or shiny skin, or skin that retains a dimple after being pressed. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs or symptoms of edema in your lungs (pulmonary edema), including: Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing Chest pain
Q:Can I use ground espresso in a French press coffee maker?Would this be too strong? Would it make a mess?
No, you can't. Here's why: 1) That fine of a grind will over extract be bitter. Larger chunks require longer for the flavors to release (20-30seconds for espresso vs 3-4 minutes for french press) 2) If you read the instructions included with a french press they warn against using too fine a grind. The reason isn't that it will get through the filter; it's that the grounds will clog the filter. If that happens, you won't be able to easily depress the plunger and the pressure may send scalding bitter coffee all over the place ( you).
Q:I want to press my mineral eyeshadows by faerie organics, however the mixing mediums out there have silicone and other parabens and chemicals in them, and that will kind of defeat the purpose of me wanting to use healthier makeup on my skin. So can I make a natural version of a pressing medium for my eyeshadows?I saw a 1 part glycerin to 3 parts water recipe but I am told that is goes bad over time, If I use that will my eyeshadows go bad too? Here are the ingredients in my eyeshadow if it helps:ingredients: mica, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, kaolin clay, boron nitride, iron oxides, may contain ultramarines, chromium greenthanks for your help!!
I dont really know of any completely natural pressing mediums out there. My best advice would be to press the eyeshadows you want to use in smaller batches with the 1 part glycerin 3 parts water recipe you described. That way you can at least try it and see how long its good for before pressing large amounts of eyeshadows. Or even try it out on an old mineral eyeshadow you have lying around to see how it works.
Q:i was lifting about 160 pounds in decline bench press which is ok for me when i heard a crack in my right shoulder my hand is properly working and i'm able to do biceps exercise but now i'm not even able to press even 40 pounds in bench press whenever i try to lift the rod my right shoulder starts paining terribly and i can't even do one rep.please help me it's been four days now but the problem is still the same.
I wish I had this 2 years in the past after I damaged my rotator cuff at the same time as showing off. it truly is amazingly certain and quite provides you the techniques you opt for to handle your own shoulder themes and so a lot more advantageous data consisting of scuffling with more advantageous injuries. once you've a shoulder preserving you wakeful at evening you'll recognize that is not any guffawing count number number. give up Shoulder soreness completely?
Q:my bench pressing hasnt improve in over a month, altho I do it every other day, I dont know what is the problem but I just dont have the strenght...
If you are bench pressing every other day you are probably overtraining your pectoral muscles therefore you are seeing no increase in strength, try bench pressing once a week with low reps of around 3-5 and keep increasing the weight slightly every week and you will see an increase in your bench press over a period of time
Q:How long does it take to see results, usually? And what is the best way to make the chest poke out, I guess? I heard doing incline bench presses help; can someone verify it please?
Dude the point of working out is to breakdown muscle mass and giving it time to recover so it gets stronger and bigger. So just workout each muscle group once a week, it might sound like it's not enough but it's the amount for the muscle to recover. just remember to get to muscular failure with each set and get a good diet otherwise all your working out will be for nothing.
Q:I am trying to become a Freelance Photographer and sell my photos to the local newspapers and other media organizations. I plan on taking pictures of crime scenes and different law enforcement / fire department events in my area.I've talked to a few people and they all told me that I would need a Press Pass. I am unsure as how to get one (I call the different newspapers and places like that and they say that they only issue them to their employees and are not for freelance photographers like myself). If I am a freelance photographer, do I really need one? If so, could I just create my own business and make my own press pass for that business?(I am in California, Los Angeles County)
When I was a newspaper reporter, we reporters used to laugh a bit at our friends asking us to get them a press pass. That was because, we felt, if you had to have a press pass, it wasn't going to do you much good. Yes, we all had press ID. But it was a point of pride not to use it -- just waltz up to the place or person and say, I'm from xyz news. How about that...(and ask your question.) But your situation is a bit different, I see. Okay, here's what some people in your situation (actually needing a press pass) did. We had a county press association, and when I was president, II made name cards for all the members -- even some who were freelancers like you. I think your idea of making yourself a news media with a blog is a good one. Print yourself up a card with your blog name on it, and your id for contacts -- name, phone#, email addy. I bet it would work -- make it _real_ official looking!
Q:the press spent 100s of hrs on Obama's Birth Certificate!!?
Which one of those are we supposed to watch?
