At which point, electronics trigger a motor which unlocks/opens the car door. Software in the electronics might included timing logic and/or determine if the reflected signal is getting stronger (i.e. someone is moving near) in order to not open the door if someone say moves past.

I guess i just need to connect them to the battery and to ground and that it or am I wrong.
- no they need to run through a relay and also be fused and the car you have now may not be wired for power door set up,so doing this on car that isn't set up for it is kind of hard unless you have the wiring diagram for it,but it can be done,since you will have both cars to work from ,i did it on my neon but i also had two cars to work from and the complete wiring diagram on it and there was a lot of switching parts around on it to get them to work right,good luck.

- my mothers '92 Saturn does this,on those you have to pull the outer panels off to get at the electrical controls & such, rather a pain so i pulled the fuse, moisture is the culprit, it's just a long slow process to find it , pull and dry all the connections and slap di-electric grease on them when reassembling, that should help.
