for the most part anything you modify will no longer be covered by warranty. I know here recently I have been seeing a ton of new customers in my shop with newer cars because they have made changes on their cars and the dealers are not giving them warranty help. Toyota is getting real bad about it as well as the local Hyundai dealer. Also under Hyundai warranty there are a bunch of hoops that you have to jump to keep the 10 year warranty going in my opinion from what I have heard its sort of a scam read your warranty documents carefully and do everything you are required to to or hyundai will drop your warranty I have seen it numerous times too many to count. Even more so now that the dealers are in bad times with the economy like it is. like I wrote earlier I have been seeing alot of customers that come to us because we are substantially cheaper than the dealers and they have just been denied warranty. With that said I would say your ok with the tinted windows and maybe even your wheels. I would call your selling dealer and speak to the service dept before doing anything if you are worried about warranty implications. The big subs put a heavy load on the electrical system and the wiring for the headlights is not large enough for the HID's and will eventually cause problems so I would guess they will say no on these 2 but like I wrote check first. Head light and tail light cover would be ok but they are illegal in almost every state just so you know and are just another BS reason to pull you over

Q:The only other electrical problem that I have experienced with this car is that the keyless entry system wouldnt work when it would rain. There is a short to ground somewhere. Since car electrical systems are very complicated, this will require the attention of an ASE certified auto electrician.

Q:ok i own a 2000 silverado 4.3L Vortec engine. last year i put true duals, no muffler but the cats still there. the cats have been burned through and are jut pipe basically now. anyway the o2 sensors along the right pipe are ruined one is cut off and the other is melted to the pipe. the right pipe is questionable. anyway i recently put a cold air intake on with stock tubing. i used the old sensor thing with the electrical plug. i decided to just run the filter literaly on the intake manifold. the truck actualy runs and the service engine soon light went off????? so i took it for a drive and it runs great!!! better than ever and i can hear the filter. i like it but i noticed my transmission cause its auto that it is shifting a lot smoother and actualy faster. like short quick shifts.!! i plan on running it like this permenantly is that good idea???

I think your check engine light just burned out! Go to an auto parts place that checks computer codes for free. You probably have several codes, but the computer is managing the engine on get home settings. You vehicle will not pass inspection!

many people make the mistake of going to autozone and having their codes read.autozone is in the parts selling buissness not the auto repair buissness.maybe theres more to the story than you wrote in your question,,,,but them telling you to change plugs was wrongyou have already spent money that may not have been needed now your giong to spendanother 100 on a o2 senser on a guess.sorry but todays cars need diagnostics run on them by a qualified tech with modern equipment,,,parts are to expensive just to take a guess at whats wrong(unless you want to start a relationship with the guy at autozone).its hard to believe that a 04 corolla needs a cat,and your dad could be right but unless u have somebody that knows what they are doing look at this issue.u could be spending lots of money and your car will still have a ses light on .

It means the computer senses something wrong, get it to a shop asap and pay to have it diagnosed by a professional.
