Types of the cables:：
Standard main cables and branch cables are all low-voltage power cables with XLPE or PVC insulation materials (IEC, GB, JIS, BS ... ...), and PVC materials covered on the outer side. Generally, the main cable is single-core or twisted multi-core cable (cables with two to five cores), the branch cables are single-core cables, and may adopt a fire-resistant, flame retardant cables in accordance with the requirements.

- Q:I've just bought myself a new motherboard for my 9800 GT but it isn't picking it up and allowing me to install it's drivers. I have noticed an extra plug on the back of the card and wondered if it maybe needed an extra power plug to it? If not, what else could be the problem?
- All 9800 GT cards require additional power source, so each is bundled with a molex to 6-pin adapter, even though all modern PSUs have such cables.
- Q:I recently bought a Mackie CFX20 MKII and it came with a European 2 pin power cable but I need a UK 3 pin power cable.On the plug end of the cable it says (16A 250V~) but on the connector end of the same cable it says (10A 250V~) I have no idea what cable I need to buy for this so an answer to what I need or a link to what I need would be great.Thanks.
- Look at the mixer itself and see what voltage it says on it, If it states 250V then you cannot use it in the USA as the voltage there is 110V.
- Q:I live in Chicago, and I want to know if somebody can help me. The next house on mine have electrical power cable, telefon and cable from my back yard and pas my propriety aprox 60 tf, the last two stay on my garage, its legal ?Know haw i can do to move the cable? some codes or regulation, samething? - I do not know the codes or regulations in Chicago but i do know in most states it against the law to have power lines resting on a structure. Those two lines resting on the garage could be the cable and phone company's and that is not against the law. However you could call the phone company and cable company and ask them to move them for you. If you can make a valid point that those lines are causing you harm or disturbing you in anyway possible then the company's will have to move it. And for the power cables there is probably nothing you can do unless it is really resting on your garage. But they will just tighten the line and not actually move it.
- Q:i just bought a cobra radar detector and im a bit of a perfectionist. it bothers me that the power supply cable drags from the windshield across the head unit and into the cigarette lighter. i need ideas on how to hook up the detector because it needs to be plugged in to work but not have the cord out in the open. thanks
- Mount the detector on your sunvisor. Run the power cord fromt eh detector under the edge of the headliner and down the A-pillar next to the windshield (you should be able to remove the plastic over the A-pillar and run the cord behind it.) Cut the cigarette lighter plug off and wire it into the fuse panel to a switched 12v source (something that comes on when the car is cranked)(radio, etc). That will allow the radar detector to power on when the car is cranked and to power off when the car is stopped. I wired all of mine like this and never had any problems with any of them.
- Q:Hi,I have just bought a jasper xbox and i know this as it says ''12V, 12,1A'' on the back yet my power cable says ''12V, 16,5A''.I thought that the jasper xbox requires a specific power connector which wont fit the other types. Mine seems to fit fine, so have i got something wrong here? Cheers
- i don't know if somethings wrong with your xbox or power brick but i can tell u tho, if u use a Xenon power brick (12V,16,5A) on a jasper xbox u will run into a problem later on, for it will overheat and the CPU and GPU will warp and pull there self away from the motherboard, if u have ever heard of the towel trick( wrapping your xbox in a towel so it will overheat and the solder will pool up and re-solder the CPU/GPU back in place) that's where it come from, i would buy a jasper power brick if i were u (12V, 12,1A).

- Q:I got two hard drives. The cable connecting the hard drive has 2 connectors, does it matter which connector goes to the master drive and which goes to the slave drive? same question regarding the power supply. 2 connectors on the power cable, the order matters?
- Master HDD connects to the end of the ribbon cable. Slave drive connects to the mid-connector. It is best to connect master to the power connector closest to power supply (less wire resistance).
- Q:I've had this laptop (Dell Studio XPS 1640) for about two and a half years, and I've been through three power cables. The first one was a no-brainer, since the end was wearing a lot and you could see the wires. The past two have basically just stopped working for no obvious reason. The blue light on the end of the cord still lights up blue, but my computer says plugged in and not charging. I just bought a brand new one less than four months ago and it's worked perfectly until this past week. Has anyone else been having this problem with similar laptops? And if so, is there anything I can do besides wasting more money on a new cable?

- Keep power cables separate from Line Level cables(inputs, record outputs) and speaker cables away from Line Level cables. In other words keep the different types of cables away from each other. This also goes for FM antennas separate them all as well as possible. If you have HUM, you most likely have a cable that has a compromised (bad or going bad) Ground or loose connector. Bundling wires, even the same kind CAN induce hum, as it turnes it cable bundle into a coil (like a Guitar Pick-up). Try buying several extra good quality cables of each type, and switch them out one at a time, and you may find that one or more cable is compromised and is causing the trouble and throw it away! Make sure that the outlet the system is plugged into has a Good quality Surge Protector! not just an outlet strip< Make sure the circuit that is being used to power the system is not also carrying lights with dimmers, florescent lights, or any thing other than sound equipment. LIGHTS MOTORS CAUSE HUM! Also make sure that your not using several circuits to power several INTERCONNECTED items! ie: VCR, DVD, CD, PHONO on one circuit, and Receiver, TV, Cable Box on another (GROUND LOOP). Many times a moderately expensive Surge Protector will solve hum in a sound system(not a $10.00 one, but maybe $25.00 and up) I use a TRIPPLITE that cost more than $200.00, but it has been well worth it! ( I have a $50,000.00 studio sound system), as it not only filters noise that comes down the line, but it protects from surges spikes. (Duke Power calls them LINE VARIATIONS), but they will burn up delicate electronics in a heartbeat! If your wires are bundled, it will be hard to clean up the mess and noise! Even sharp bends in wires and cables will degrade the performance of even the best system, and make change outs (new DVD player) hatefull as well as put extra strain on the rest of the wires. and they wonder why they failed.
