Types of the cables:：

- Listen Dud, Sprinkles is right. You didn't break the regulator. I have replaced enough of those thing to fill a dumpster. They have plastic parts in them that just wear out. However they are expensive BUT I do not recommend you changing it by you're self. The new one can fly apart on you if you don't handle it just right. And it's A BEAR to get back together!

- If you look very close the position for these connectors is written on the motherboard along side of the pins that they connect to in very small letters.
- Q:My Xbox 360's power supply cord is very loosely connected. I've tried to push it with force, didn't go further. Games lag a bit (GTA IV, for example) at graphically expensive situations. - It's not possible to drop voltage as you said. It's either connected, or it's not. The power won't wain. It just won't work at all if not properly inserted. But if the power cord won't seat properly in a brand new console, you're still under warranty. I'd get it replaced if I were you..
- Q:I have a monitor which has a input rating of 100-240V and a 1.5A current. But I have a cable which gives out 250V and a 10A current.... The cable plugs into my monitor with no problem and it turns on just fine. But is it fine?
- it is fine, the cable doesn't give out anything the 10amp rating is simply the maximum current that it is rated for, at the monitor only draws a maximum 1.5amps this will be 1/10th of the capacity of the power cable

- Don't do it. The power brick is what powers the console and you need it to properly run it smoothly. Just get a power brick. If you don't have one, go on OKorder.
- Q:If I buy a PS3 in the US and bring it back to France, if I buy the french power cable and exchange it with the US power cable, will the PS3 work? I have a transformer which I already use for my Wii so if the power cable doesnt work for the PS3, I can just use the transformer.
