AR Glassfiber Spray Roving is designed to be unwound internally. They are protected by a shrink-wrap polythene film which should not be removed when used. Each roving is identified by an individual label and packed in a carton. AR FIBERGLASS SPRAY ROVING 14.5% is white colored but an orange color is used on labels and shrink-wrap to aid identification.

For sea transport, a maximum of 20 pallets (on two levels) could be loaded in a 20 foot container, giving a total net weight of approximately 17-20 tonnes.
- Q:If you stood in a pool of wet cement up to your shoulders, would you be crushed as the cement dried or would it be molded around you?
- well neither actually, but it would be unpleasant and you'd probably still die, being buried to your shoulders in wet sand would have the same effect... each time you exhaled and your chest depressed the cement would take up the space, as it slowly dried the space you were in would become smaller and smaller and by the time it dried the space you were in would be so tight you wouldn't have room for your chest to expand when inhaling and you would suffocate. I guess you could survive if you kept your hands in front of you to keep room open for your chest expansions.
- Q:I have a walk-in shower (no door) and was planning on using cement board for the wall floor. Do i have to use a vapour barrier behind the cement board on the would frame? If so, what kind? Simply lay the tile on the board (wall floor) with thinset? What kind of thinset? Any help would be appreciated! Thx
- Use Hardibacker and seal the seams with tape and thinset. Use thinset to set the tile using 1/4 spacers. I have used and recommend that you use a tile sealer to seal the slate prior to grouting and to use epoxy grout. The grout is more difficult to install but requires no sealers which need to be redone at least once a year in a shower and is well worth the initial time and effort. Be sure to read and follow the directions on the grout bags to ensure a uniform color and good grout set. MT C

- Polystyrene Plastic cement is an adhesive used for joining polystyrene parts. The cement contains a solvent that melts the surface of the plastic, allowing the two parts to fuse together. As the solvent evaporates the strength returns to the material, the components having been 'welded' together. As with the asbestos stuff, I don't think the new batches of gun pestic cement has any. The last I know of were supplies that were manifactured before 1991 by subsidiaries of a certain company. These ones contained asbestos. I don't think they do anymore. It has been rectifed. Plastic cement is available as both gel (tube or gun form) and liquid (bottle with applicator).
- Q:I never used to be allergic to anything and then a few years ago developed an allergy to shell fish. Yesterday I was working with rubber cement for the first time and I had a major allergic reaction similar to the ones I would have after eating shrimp. Is there anything in rubber cement that would relate to shellfish? There is nothing printed on the label but it does warn of allergic reactions if you are allergic to latex gloves. Not sure if I am or not but maybe.....given this experience.

- I'm guessing by cement you mean concrete. Weights vary somewhat. Concrete 143 lbs. Cement 94 lbs. Sand 100 lbs. per cubic foot. Cement is the binder that chemically reacts to bind sand and stone making concrete. And yes, a pound of sand weighs the same as a pound of cement. Volume of sand would be greater than the volume of a pound of cement. Somebody was being a smart aleck. Joatmon

- To my understanding, NO. Here is a definition copied from the second link provided in the Source box below, OK? Liquids with a flash point less than 60.5 or 37.8 °C (141 or 100 °F)—depending upon the standard being applied—are considered flammable, while liquids with a flash point above those temperatures are considered combustible.[1] By this definition, a gob of dried contact cement is probably combustible, but certainly, not flammable. I've heard of low grade diesel, not needing a Flammable placard in shipment. Wood, for a quick example, is combustible. I think you could easily test this to your satisfaction with little butane torch. If your gob of dried glue, don't quickly ignite, it's only combustible.
