Q:How do Real Estate Investors make there money?
First okorder.com/ To stop this dishonest business practices. One day and soon i hope there will be a mandatory, county ran MLS that is publicly assessable, only then will there be a fare and honest housing market. Till then good luck, on even being able to find most of what is for sale.
Q:Real Estate as a Career?
According to a NationalAssociation of Realtors statistic, more than 250,000 licensed agents have left the business in the last two years; a staggering number. But does this mean that people have stopped buying and selling real estate? You may be surprised at the overall status of the market and seize your opportunity to build a successful real estate career after hearing the following. Learn more about real estate career opportunities with Proclient today!
Q:mba in real estate?
i would advise you to go to their site and see if you cannot talk to present students there. God bless you on your career choice.
Q:Investing in Real Estate Abroad?
Usually, you'll need to have access to considerable capital to invest in commercial (anything that makes you money) property abroad. I'm talking several million dollars or more. You'll have to engage a real estate lawyer, a realtor, and a broker in these foreign lands. They aren't going to mess with any one with small potatoes, so you're going to have to bring all your chips to the table. Too risky for them to do otherwise. You also usually have to have a partner who is a national of that country, as foreigners typically cannot own property in most places outright (100% on their own). The question is, will you trust that person with your investment? There are many horror stories of how people lost their life savings doing this type of thing. Usually an individual will not be able to tolerate this level of risk. Stick with the typical domestic investments and keep more of your money - stocks, bonds, funds, etc.
Q:Real Estate question?
It doesn't require any college. All you have to do is take a course. It is usually offered at various real estate offices. Just b/c you take the course at that office doesn't mean you have to work for them. It is a universal course. There are different options on the duration of classes. You can go everyday for a week for 8 hrs a day (this is called a compound course) or you can go a few days a week or month. There are different durations b/c everybody has different schedules and a variety ensures everybody can make accommodations. Remember you still have to pass the real estate exam and your State's real estate exam. To get information go to a local agency and inquire or you can go on line and look up a well-known office branch and usually there is a link to what they have to offer. Good Luck!
Q:real estate job info?
Please take your time before you do this . Real estate jobs are the worst now. foreclosure is very high in USA , their over 7,000 homes are in foreclosures processing every single day. i know several brokers they did not make any penny for months . it's very hard to sell homes and get home loans approval. a lot of people can't even get their loan in the day of the closing. take my advice and try to get in safe, and wanted jobs like governments, city, state jobs, software jobs, and health care jobs. real estate brokers sell or buy homes for their Clint's base in commission . this commission rang from 2.8 %- 6% of the home value. up to 50% of your commision could go to your agency fee. please do not waste your time and your life in this ugly career. only very experianced, and very active brokers could make it this market. my best wishes to you in your job serch.
Q:What does it take to become a real estate agent?
there are no normal hours and you only get paid when you participate in a house sale - it could be months between paychecks, of which you need to put aside money for taxes
Q:What can you tell me about a career in real estate?
Go for it. Take the classes to be a real estate agent, its about a 3 month course, then a test, then get sponsored by a broker. Its not a steady income but if your good at it you can make good money.
Q:How do real estate companies make money?
If by company you mean the office for which a broker or sales agent works read the following: When a house sells, the agent who listed the house and represents the seller gets a portion of the commission and the agent who brought the buyer to the transaction gets the other portion. Sometimes the agent who lists the house also sells it [has a buyer] but increasingly buyers are told to get a buyer's agent to avoid conflict of interest. Laws and practices vary by state. The commission is agreed upon at the time the listing is taken. Generally the seller pays it from the proceeds of the sale. It can be renegotiated later if the selling price is lower than asked or if the price is bid up. For example a listing will indicate commission is 6% of the selling price split 50/50 or 40/60 between the listing broker/agent and the buyer's broker/agent. The split depends on market conditions - is it a buyer's market or a seller's market. If it is a seller's market that means houses to sell are in short supply making a listing a valuable thing and the listing broker or agent may, but not always, get a larger split of the commission. The portion of the commission that goes to the respective sides is split again. Take the case of a Century 21 office. A portion goes to cover the franchise fee i.e.; goes to C-21 corporate, a portion goes to the broker who manges/owns the office [company in your question] the selling agent is associated with, some may go to cover special advertising or printed materials and the rest goes to the broker or sales agent who found the buyer or took the listing. That is an over view of the process.
Q:Getting into Real Estate?
hope this does not sound confusing. Being a real estate salesperson or broker [the sales person's boss] is a very very serious world, time consuming and wrought with laws--federal and state, that must be memorized BEFORE you can show a house to anyone! YOUR finance classes will come in handy--and if you wish to become an agent, you will be a combo PART lawyer, part hustler, 100% advocate for EITHER [you can rep both but it is stupid to do so] seller or buyer. YOU must pay for an application, pay for the schooling [only specific schools are authorized by each state], pay for the state test after you pass the school's tests, and then, pay for the license....and if you like NAR [most brokers are members] you must pay for a membership there too. Figure 100 hours of very focused concentration, $300 out of your pocket NOT counting NAR before you earn one penny--and that penny comes only after a buyer and seller close escrow with your help! can guide further
