Q:Our road is about 1/3 of a mile long, and is a straight road. The speed limit on this road is 25 m.p.h., yet some seem to think it's a drag strip and will do 55-60 m.p.h. on it. Well, she didn't have all of her items taken from her. Like you said, she had paper from the Death Note. She also had a pencil or pen, and her cellphone. It is presumed that she used some fuel in Mello's motorcycle and equipment to help ignite the fire. To start the fire she could have used Mello's motorcycle equipment or her phone to make a spark. It's not that difficult to start a fire. The fuel in the truck, the blanket, these are all good, flammable substances capable of catching fire. Keep in mind, once Mello was out of the way, she was free to move about. She could have taken something from him, or gotten her things back.

I'm afraid you have bad head gasket and probably a warped head - maybe both heads are affected. When coolant is suddenly lost the temperature gauge does not read right because there is no coolant for it to measure. It is easy to confirm if a head or head gasket is your problem. Fill the radiator and leave the pressure cap off. Have a helper crank the engine while you watch the coolant. If the coolant gushes out when he cranks the engine (or worse yet, pumps up and down) it is bad news for one or both heads/gaskets. Identifying the affected heads can be done by removing all the spark plugs from one bank at a time. If the coolant does not gush or pump when cranked the head and gasket for the bank with plugs in it are not very bad. If the engine quit quickly enough the heads may have been spared.

On general motors cars and trucks you can turn the radio off and hold the tape button till the icon flashes. I would think there is a way on ford cars too, mercury us made by ford. Look in your owners manual under the section about your radio. If there's a way to do it, it will be there. All I can tell you is to read a little of manual and see what it says.

Q:I recently moved a TV to a room that has a smoke detector in it. The detector is about 5 feet directly above the TV. When the TV is on for a few hours the detetor will go off for 1 series then stop. There is no smoke or smells. I tryed changing the detectors batteries, but it still does it. Does the TV give off enough heat to cause it to go off? Should I be concerned?Thanks

No, no, NO! Yes, cutting the wire shorter will cause it to overheat. The wire in an electric blanket is set to operate at the length it was manufactured at. Cutting it shorter can create a fire hazard. Besides, the wire is crimped. You can't solder heating element wire. An electric blanket wire, as with all heating elements has a specific electrical resistance per foot. By cutting it shorter, you reduce its resistance, allowing more current to flow to the point where the wire insulation and the blanket can melt and/or ignite. Don't get creative with electricity unless you are absolutely sure of what you're doing. Just purchase an electric heating pad. It's simpler and safer.

maybe U can use this time 2 consider how u may act next time. when kids r grounded 4 whatever reason, they can choose 2 make that time constructive by thinking about what they did, how 2 avoid what got them in2 trouble 2 begin w/. u can also consider trying 2 talk 2 whoever grounded u explain things. if all else fails, just make this time useful as mentioned. next time, try 2 avoid falling 4 the temptation by maybe drawing something nice, like a flower or smiley face. if yer gonna draw anything, keep it nice. if u don't wanna draw anything nice u don't hafta draw all, which will prevent u from getting in2 trouble again.
