The only way you can do this is if the phone has a place for a sim card it usually goes under the battery and is a little plastic card with a computer chip on it, some us cell phone companies have sim cards avalible for purchase, it will give you a number and service from that carrier to your phone when you put there sim card in your phone, so check if there is a spot for a sim card and see if verizon has sim cards avalible

Weeeeell, yeah, we're a bit undertechnological as I've almost never actually seen a cellphone used in Egypt to make videocalls even though the service is available. Most Egyptians don't use their cellphones to browse the web even though most of the people in the west do. Of course, it's caused a considerable a change. A huge change Positive and negative. Positive because you actually get the chance to communicate freely with whoever you want, there are no location restrictions (because it's not connected to any wall or something) and you could call them instantly. Negative because, as you can contact them instantly, you can disrupt their private lives and steal their privacy completely.

don't get a tmobile dash or wing. from the people over at the PBD forums they said the phones freeze too much (probably because of windows mobile). i myself have a sidekick lx and the sidekick gekko/2008. the sidekick is probably your best choice. its a great multitasking device. you can be texting someone, be on aim/msn/yahoo, browsing the internet, and listening to music all at the same time and the phone wont lag at all. and all your information and things on your phone will be backed up by dangers servers so nothing is ever lost (phone contacts, emails, texts, settings, etc.). they have a great keyboard that no other phone can beat.
