- Q:If I buy a phone from OKorder that is locked to T-mobile, would I be able to activate service with them? I'm 18 and have no credit history, so would I have to pay a deposit?
- There are two types of phones sold on OKorder: Phones with a contract and phones without a contract. A phone without a contract: all you need is a T-Mobile Sim card. You can get a prepaid one or you can set up a plan. A phone with a contract: Its a lot cheaper but you will have to activate the phone through the seller, which means for you putting up a deposit. What I would do is go to a T-Mobile store and tell them that you are getting a T-Mobile free from your dad and what your options are. Don't let them talk you into signing anything right there and then. Go back home and think about your options and then make a decision.
- Q:I have a T-Mobile Shadow. It's old and beat up and I got it in about 2008. I think Its due for an upgrade but I don't know which phones I can get for it. I really want the HTC HD2. I was wondering if I could upgrade to that phone for free or if it would cost anything. Or any other phone for that matter. Preferably a touch screen phone, its just easier.
- You need to go to the T-Mobile website and sign into your account or if you haven't set up an online account, do so. All cell phone carriers have their sites set up that will show you 1. If you qualify for an upgrade. 2. How much this upgrade will cost. For instance: Sprint lets me get an upgrade every year. Some phones are absolutely free and some I would have to pay a small fee ( such as a 300. phone I might only pay $50). Also, Sprint will let me upgrade after 6 months however, the credit I get is less. At 6 months, I get $50 and then at 8 months $75 and so on.) If you are not computer savvy and cannot find how to do this on your own, call T-Mobile. They will gladly and willingly direct you to their sales department and tell you what you qualify for. Hope I helped you! :) Edit: Don't forget to come back and vote! And if I helped, let me know!
- Q:i lost my virgin mobile phone a couple days ago. i know for a fact that it is indeed lost and not misplaced. every time i cal it it goes rite to voice mail. does anyone know where i can call and track my phone down ? my phonemy life PLEASE HELP ME !!!!! 10pts
- Go online and report it as lost or stolen. My daughter lost her phone, and after searching for it for a few days, we reported it lost. Virgin Mobile offered her a new (upgraded) phone for the cost of shipping (about $10 as I recall). Aside from the shipping charge, she didn't lose any money off of her account. The bad news is that the addresses and stuff she had on the phone were lost and she had to restore them manually. Best Luck :DHave a good day foryou!-
- Q:Hello, i am 13 and i am the only one in my class without a phone, i was thinking of buying one, but i heard they are pretty bad for you, i mean the radiation that comes from it so is there a mobile with low radiation ?
- Jauke, ask yourself this question: how would any questions posted here be any different or better than the answers you've already heard.
- Q:Can thieves play a cell phone?
- Some people say that electromagnetic waves will be conductive mine. But modern society everywhere have electromagnetic waves, radio, television, satellite, base station signal tower and other signals issued by us around,
- Q:describe my mobile phone
- Write in a chronological order. (Start to End). Put some detail in. Simplicity! e.g. I woke up, feeling refreshed and happy. Casually, I slipped on some clothes, tied up my hair, and carelessly slapped some BB cream onto my pale face. After breakfast (cornflakes and milk), I put on my favorite boots- they were black, suede and had beautiful, gold beads dotted round the toe. In a hurry, I paced down endless roads and alleyways until I reached the park. I meandered over to a nearby bench and sat down, reaching for my book in my small bag. Oblivious to all the noise going on around me, I delved into my book, loosing myself in its gripping story. Hey! I was interrupted by my best friend, Anna. Oh, hey! I replied, scooting down the bench so she could perch her tiny frame onto the bench. After a long catch-up, we headed into town to go shopping. First of all, we stopped at a dainty clothes boutique. I loved these kind of shops: the shops that had cute vintage items, found nowhere else. Not surprisingly, I was met by a sea of gorgeous garments. etc. blahblah Hope this helped :D
- Q:Does anyone of you know how to connect your laptop to the internet using your mobile phone?I have a nokia 3110c. and i have laptop,. it can be connected to the internet, it can be a modem. it can be connected accordingly through bluetooth pan. does anyone of you know how to do it? and the gprs modem settings? how do i obtain it? im from the philippines, and our network here is SMART. tnx. :))
- Bro, okorder
- Q:I want to sell my Pre-paid Virgin Mobile Prepaid phone, but before I do I want to make sure that you can reactivate it after you cancel so whoever buys it can actually use it. Can someone please tell me how to cancel it, and how the person buying it can reactivate so i can pass that info to them? Please answer this. Who ever can answer this will get BEST ANSWER and the HIGHEST POINTS POSSIBLE I CAN GIVE!!! :)
- I would call Virgin and cancel it after the time has run out on the phone. I wouldn't recommend going and changing the name (If it even lets you do this) and number. What if that person were to somehow able to have access to your previous payments you made by a credit card etc. I think you should just call Virgin, and explain you want your account canceled and you are going to give the phone to someone else and you want to be sure none of your accts info will be on it. I would also ask them how to factory reset the phone itself to erase any downloads you did or text stored on the phone and browser history and all that stuff.
- Q:I am using my mobile phone's GPRS connection to connect to the internet thru a USB cable connected to my laptop. However when I browse the web I don't get the speed indicated in the network icon and it seems like the data received sent is intermittent.
- I have the same deal and it appears to be related to how much the phone companie's network traffic is at any given time, as well as how good of a mobile phone connection that you have. Mine seems to never transfer at the 115Kb that Windows is indicating it is connected at. It could also be appearing slow because you are used to having a much higher speed connection and now are faced with a much slower one. The intermittent is likely because web pages are coming over in bits and spurts which have to be assembled by the browser before it can display anything. Bottom line though is that if you are getting anything through this connection it is more than nothing which is what you have if you are not connected by copper/fiber/cable modem/wireless router.
- Q:i just got this boost mobile motorola i475 i was wondering does this phone play youtube videos. Ive downloaded opera mini already but everytime i try to play a vid on youtube it will say protocol not supported. so can i get this phone to play youtube vids or what?
- The Motorola i475 is too old of a cell phones. It is what we call a WAP phone. It can't access any internet website like a desktop can. The internet on this cell phone is more of text and menus like when the internet was more of menus and numbers. It won't be able to play videos or anything like that. Even Boost Mobile won't even activate this cell phone. As you know Boost Mobile is getting rid of any cell phone that uses the IDEN network. The cell phone Motorola i475 is a IDEN network phone since it has that walkie talkie feature. Boost Mobile will no longer support IDEN cell phones but only use CDMA network. So this cell phone is obsolete. All their cell phones on Boost Mobile website only use CDMA network.
