1.Structure of Aluminum Wire Rod Description:

Aluminum wire rod is the SGS certified product, and our company is one of the few manufacturers who have the capability to produce such products, and it is also the earliest development of the product manufacturers. The products have advantages such as good roundness, good surface finish, uniform dimensions and so on. Both the conductive and mechanical properties of products meet regulations of IEC and ASTM standards and products are widely used in electrical wire and cable industry. The aluminum rod is used for electrical purposes, is the raw material for the overhead power transmission lines, for example: ACSR, AAC, AAAC, ACAR, ACS etc.


Aluminum Wire Rod Commonly referred to as Alclad 5056, this alloy possesses moderate to high strength, is non-heat treatable by cold working and has good welding characteristics. Care must be taken when cold working above 66℃ to avoid stress corrosion. 5056 aluminum is our highest strength alloy and has good corrosion resistance in marine atmospheres largely due to its high purity aluminum outer cladding which usually measures 20% total thickness per side. Magnesium is the major alloying element. Applications include cable sheathing, rivets, mandrels, nails and wire screens. Common cold heating temperatures are 0 and H32.
