Q:How do I get a license to sell real estate internationally?
Q:Real Estate License - How To?
Go to the local Realtor's Association (You should be able to find them in the yellow pages). Our Realtor's Association offers the class as an 8 hour a day, 2 week course for significantly less than the tech school (though it is exactly the same materials and often the same instructor). The Realtor's Association will also be able to give you an idea of the fees you will pay to hold a liscence, and a list of Broker's with whom you can interview for a position upon completion of your course. I love real estate - it's fun and interesting and all the wierd little twists that have cropped up on the last year really keep me on my toes! Good luck!
Q:Real-Estate Fraud Attempt?
The agent was correct in asking you what the price was on your home. If he doesn't know this, he can't construct an offer. Your state may have a single party show contract (CA does) that states you only pay the agent a commission if you sell (insert name of the buyer) their home. Most agents won't write an offer without it for a FSBO property. Also, not hearing from them for a couple days is par for the course in real estate. It's a big decision and sometimes after people think about it, they change their mind. When an agent tells a seller of mine that his buyers may be writing an offer, more times than not, they don't and the seller gets very upset by this. I don't see anything fraudulent going on here. To protect yourself, you really need to list your home with a Realtor. That's the only way you can avoid these kinds of things.
Q:Real Estate ? Please Help?
Hi Trish, It's really good to know that you are thinking about a career even before getting out of high school. This shows your maturity. I have made Real Estate my career choice for 17 years (and still love it) I would interview with a lot of different brokers first of all- most times will offer schooling free or part of their in house training. The catch is they will want you to work for and with them (you will be able to see how the real estate industry works first hand). In real estate you learn something new everyday, so being around top producers will be a benefit in your learning. Every area has a real estate association, just google real estate association for your city. Once you find out where it is at either go there or call them. They can provide you with a list of both online schools or physical real estate schools that are close to you. Like any job or career, the outcome of success is what you put into it. The potential to make very good money in real estate is there (without a doubt) but it does consist of hard work and consistency. Results may not be seen for 3-6 months so make sure you have reserves when you first get started. Tips: I would always think outside the box and don't always think the normal traditional way works best. Start a new trend, be different but always be true to who you are and the potential clients you may be working with. As a whole the public already has a negative image of real estate agents, so we need to work extra hard to let them know we are different and we do Truly care. Like I said I have been doing real estate for almost 17 years (I have both my Georgia and California license) I still have the passion like it was yesterday. If I can be of anymore help, please let me know i would love to answer anymore questions you may have.
Q:Starting a Career in Real Estate?
Real estate might be a tough career to start today. Might want to nroaden your career outlook.
Q:Real Estate?
Becoming a realtor isn't really that difficult. I am a licensed Broker Associate in Indiana. Which Indiana actually has some of the hardest testing for Real Estate. I personally went to a class instead of doing an online course. Like SoCal Realtor wrote you are not actually a Realtor until you join NAR. There are fee's in doing this but once you pass the class and the state exam it shouldn't be that hard. Here in Indiana you are under a lot of the same guidelines as California now. Really you will want to go talk with a Managing Broker of a company you see a lot of. They can guide you through the reins and possibly pay for some of your schooling as long as you sign with them once you are licensed. Here in Indiana I think start to finish it was about a $2000 total investment to get started.
Q:Real Estate License?
trake a course and take the test. you are paid commission.
Q:Getting into Real Estate?
hope this does not sound confusing. Being a real estate salesperson or broker [the sales person's boss] is a very very serious world, time consuming and wrought with laws--federal and state, that must be memorized BEFORE you can show a house to anyone! YOUR finance classes will come in handy--and if you wish to become an agent, you will be a combo PART lawyer, part hustler, 100% advocate for EITHER [you can rep both but it is stupid to do so] seller or buyer. YOU must pay for an application, pay for the schooling [only specific schools are authorized by each state], pay for the state test after you pass the school's tests, and then, pay for the license....and if you like NAR [most brokers are members] you must pay for a membership there too. Figure 100 hours of very focused concentration, $300 out of your pocket NOT counting NAR before you earn one penny--and that penny comes only after a buyer and seller close escrow with your help! can guide further
Q:why do you need to know math in real-estate?
As an appraiser I use all different kind of mathematics from simply percentage increases, decreases, geometry and addition/subtraction/division and multiplication. I also use complex mathematics such as financial calculations (Discounting cash flows) present value, future value, mortgage constant etc. It really depends on what field in real estate you are in.
Q:How much do real estate agents make a month?
When Buying a Home, the first thing you should do, even before you make your first call to a real estate agent, is to fully understand the type of relationship you will have with the agent. You need to know whether the agent is working for you as a client or merely with you as a customer. See More...proclient.ca
