Q:Stainless steal with aluminum?
If its is stainless steel, it will not have an aluminium coating. Stainless steel and aluminium don't go well together due to their different atomic compositions and the way they react with oxygen, producing a phenomenon known as Galvanic Corrosion when certain metals come into contact. You are safe with your pan. It does not have an Aluminium coating, as it could not be released on the market if it were Aluminium coated Stainless Steel due to Health and Safety and Food Hygeine standards.
Q:Is aluminum foil a kind of alloy or something else?
Aluminum foil is coiled material less than 0.2mm in thickness which is made from aluminum or aluminum alloy after calendering. Aluminum alloy is made by adding metal or non-metallic materials to pure aluminum to improve metal strength.
Q:How dose cable aluminum foil work?
Almost with foil tape, cable foil mainly using aluminum foil shielding and sealing ability of electromagnetic signals. For cable foil, it is generally not very high, less oil surface, no holes in it, just one side of an aluminum foil or plastic film coated on both sides, the cable can be used as a protective cover.
Q:Aluminum foil and fold thickness difference is caused by what?
A roll of aluminum foil rolling up to tens of meters, rolling up to about 10h, with time, the difference between thick, very easy to form, and the means for adjusting the thickness of only tension speed. These factors have caused difficulties controlling the thickness of aluminum foil rolling, so the real difference in thickness control less than 3%, a number of conditions need to ensure, rather difficult.
Q:What is the use of the aluminum tape?
Aluminum tape is suitable for PDA, PDP, LCD displays, notebook computers, copiers and other electronic products in which electromagnetic shielding is required. Aluminum tape is mainly used for binding cold (hot) gas pipeline in cold (warm) gas engineering and water heater manufacturing. Aluminum foil tape with all the seams of the aluminum foil composite paste, the seal and insulation nails puncture wounds repair. It is the main and accessory material of refrigerator or freezer and also the necessary material for the sales department of thermal insulated material. Aluminum tape is widely used in refrigerator, air conditioning, automobile, petrochemical, bridge, hotels and so on. Aluminum tape is suitable for all kinds of transformers, mobile phone, computer, PDA, PDP, LED displays, notebook computers, copiers and other electronic products in which electromagnetic shielding is required. The imported aluminum tape is used for wrapping steam pipe to prevent heat diffusion.
Q:Aluminum foil burns text in oxygen:
Under normal temperature, the surface of the aluminum will win it for a layer of dense oxide film to prevent a further reaction with oxygen, oxygen will be lit in a dazzling white light (and similar, three mg) generated oxide white two aluminum powder:Turn left and turn right |Aluminum + oxygen = three oxidation of two aluminum, the reaction is both a combination reaction and oxidation reaction.
Q:Can the food wrapped in foil be heated in a microwave oven?
Tolerable! But you have to open the mouth, the prevention and control of thermal expansion and contraction as far as possible not to use some common things as artifacts caused by the explosion of a microwave oven, preferably with high heat resistance under high temperature does not emit toxic substances with porcelain artifacts, if you must pay attention to use less color!
Q:Tig welding aluminium ugh!!?
With 1/16'' aluminum make sure your fit up is tight, with no cracks at all and then make a tack every few inchs along the joint just using the arc. Aluminum is tricky stuff because it does not get fluid and weld good until it is almost at its melting point, which means you have to be on the ball and watch the puddle and surrounding metal closely before it melts. Try tacking with no filler, just fit them up tight and fuse your tacks in with the arc, you should beable to do that. Im guessing your using high frequency AC tig because your pretty much wasting your time otherwise, so try turning your amps down and playing with the high frequency controls(aka your foot peddle or thumb switch) so you don't melt the aluminum. 80 amps seems hot to me, Ive melted 3/16'' aluminum at 130 amps using a miller syncowave 200, and ive also welded pop cans at 5-25 amps so depending on how good your machine is I would probably start at 60 amps and use the controls to regulate my amperage from there. Remember to keep your pure tungsten electrode close to the material and get your arc as concentrated as possible, and as soon as your filler rod starts melting into the work piece your ready to move, I constant feed the filler rod in and go as fast as i can because aluminum transfers heat fast, once your start point is hot the rest hits your critical weld temperature right after.
Q:What's the aluminum foil flexible air hose?
Generally speaking, aluminum foil flexible air hose is used in dust collection and exhaust in bathroom.
Q:My aluminum deck boat has a cracked keel.?
I've never had to resort to acid to clean aluminum. A carbide rotary file, wire brush, and half round file usually work great for cleaning off the oxidization. My thoughts are 1: there could be a clear anodizing coat on the aluminum. 2: HE hasn't got a clue to what he is doing...I.E using the wrong welding process or general lack of knowledge in welding aluminum. Or 3: he doesn't respect you as a customer to be honest with you. There are a small number of aluminum alloys that are impossible to weld with conventional manuel and semi-automatic welding processes. This is due to either the alloy composition and or heat treatment. It is critical, especially in repair work to identify what all of aluminum you are dealing with. There has been an article in both the last American Welding Society magazines dealing with this topic. If it were myself, I'd get the boat back, refuse to pay the guy/company, and take it to a reputable shop for their opinion.
