Q:Tig welding aluminium ugh!!?
With 1/16'' aluminum make sure your fit up is tight, with no cracks at all and then make a tack every few inchs along the joint just using the arc. Aluminum is tricky stuff because it does not get fluid and weld good until it is almost at its melting point, which means you have to be on the ball and watch the puddle and surrounding metal closely before it melts. Try tacking with no filler, just fit them up tight and fuse your tacks in with the arc, you should beable to do that. Im guessing your using high frequency AC tig because your pretty much wasting your time otherwise, so try turning your amps down and playing with the high frequency controls(aka your foot peddle or thumb switch) so you don't melt the aluminum. 80 amps seems hot to me, Ive melted 3/16'' aluminum at 130 amps using a miller syncowave 200, and ive also welded pop cans at 5-25 amps so depending on how good your machine is I would probably start at 60 amps and use the controls to regulate my amperage from there. Remember to keep your pure tungsten electrode close to the material and get your arc as concentrated as possible, and as soon as your filler rod starts melting into the work piece your ready to move, I constant feed the filler rod in and go as fast as i can because aluminum transfers heat fast, once your start point is hot the rest hits your critical weld temperature right after.
Q:How aluminum foil is uesd in food packaging?
Depending on the purpose of the use of flexible packaging. Flexible packaging not only with moisture, fresh effect, but a variety of printable patterns and text, is an ideal material for modern commercial packaging. With the improvement of people's living standards, as well as flexible packaging foil much room for development.
Q:Can aluminum foil hurt your lungs or brain?
Probably not. Aluminum doesn't burn at the temperature an average cigarette lighter puts out. Also, the pipe will become coated with resin, and this poses a much more immediate health risk to your lungs. I used to smoke out of those kind of pipes when I was a kid, and I'm fine now! Aluminum is toxic if ingested in the form of microscopic particles, and has been linked with early onset Parkinson's and Alzheimers disease. Think of it this way have you ever eaten anything off of a grill that was wrapped in aluminum foil? Do you drink sodas out of aluminum cans? Have you noticed any problems? Highly unlikely. Tell your friend to get some rolling papers or a glass pipe. Papers are around $2 and glass pipes are between $5-100. Good luck!
Q:which one, aluminum foil or tin does well in heat insultaion and with a lower cost?
There is no distinct difference between them in heat insultation. Aluminum foil is cheaper than tinfoil.
Q:Is aluminum foil harmful to the human body?
Harmful. Aluminum itself is harmful to health and can cause Alzheimer's disease
Q:How about the heat dissipation of aluminum tape?
Aluminum tape has good resistance to humidity, acid, chemical corrosion and ultraviolet ray as well as excellent thermal conductivity. The enhanced aluminum tape has a better toughness and strength.
Q:Can aluminum foil isolate wireless signal?
Aluminum can nearly isolate all wireless signal, but it should be wrapt tightly. The shielding effect is also related to frequency.
Q:Copper (II) Sulfate and Aluminum?
A reaction occurs (but it is not a rapid reaction). A piece of Al will gradually display a Cu colored residue on its surface - that is metallic copper. 2Al + 3CuSO4 -- Al2(SO4)3 + 3Cu Al is higher on the activity series (it is more easily oxidized than Cu) so it will displace Cu from CuSO4.
Q:How many does one square meter of steel structure of the aluminum foil glass wool lap blanket cost?
It depends on thickness and unit-weight of glass wool and the type of aluminum.
Q:Procedure on how to shape, bore, and to connect acrylic to aluminum alloy.?
I've used both acrylic and aluminum in my projects. Acrylic is fairly easy to work with. you didn't specify what kind of 'shaping' you needed. In general it is best to use a high speed, small bite working tool like a router or a 'hack saw' type blade in a jig saw. don't use a circular saw. the back edge of the blade tends to mar the acrylic surface through friction. so use a router whenever possible for long straight edges and where appropriate for edging. Use the jig saw for free form work and finish with a dremel tool at high speed with fine grit sand paper on a drum. drilling acrylic is tough. you need a press. if you use a hand drill you almost always tilt the drill in the process which causes the flutes to bite into the edge of your hole either snapping a sheet, or maring the surface of a block. plan on using (borrowing) a drill press at high speed. attaching acryl to acryl is easy. cyanoacrylate (super glue) gives the best looking finish but is brittle. plastic adhesive epoxy is good but often has a yellow tint. attaching acrylic to aluminum is tougher. the same glues work ok, but not as good as acryl to acryl. better to drill and tap holes to receive screws. either the acrylic or the aluminum can take a thread. the question is the load weight on the joint. threads in alum are stronger.
