Q:What hurts more, a wooden bat or an aluminum one?
I've been chased with an aluminum bat, but haven't ever been hit with either. I would say that the wooden bat would hurt more, because that's solid wood. An aluminum bat is hollow. But then yet, I've red articles where aluminum bats perform better for some kind of scientific reason that I didn't quite understand. So if an aluminum bat performs better on a baseball, it would be safe to assume that perhaps it would hurt more to be hit with an aluminum one. But either way, it's safe to say... I'd rather not be hit with either!
Q:Ship aluminum plate 5What type of aluminum plate does the ship use?
Marine yacht with 5083, with 5456 of inland water on it, domestic Park boat 5052 will be used
Q:aluminum boat vs fiberglass?
This Site Might Help You. RE: aluminum boat vs fiberglass? I'm gonna drop the dime and get a bass boat. other than weight why is a fiberglass better than aluminum? I'm looking at the difference between the top of the line BassTracker and the bottom of the line Nitro. I only want about a 90 -115 hp and I'm gonna buy a couple years old to save...
Q:Can you cook tomatoes on aluminum foil or can that make you sick?
Aluminium foil is manufactured to be of 'food grade' (i.e. safe to be used around food). It heats and insulates. It would never react with the food contained on/in it. Unless you're boiling your tomatoes in Sulphuric Acid of course! :-P
Q:aluminum can recycling question?
Yes, they do. My Recycling Center accepts whole, torn-up, or compacted/crushed aluminum cans. We even accept aluminum pet-food cans. Since they are shredded to prepare them for recycling, it doesn't matter. The only time you should not compact or crush your aluminum cans is if you are using one of those automatic can-munchers that you can find in some parking lots that pays you immediately. Compacted aluminum cans will jam those machines. Aluminum can be recycled over and over, unlike other recyclables such as plastic, which can typically only be recycled once.
Q:3003H24 alloy aluminum plate refers to what kind of aluminum plate?
3003H241, the first to 3 words led by the expression is: manganese as the main alloying elements of aluminum alloy;2, second, 0 words indicate that the aluminum alloy, its impurity limit content without special control;3, third, fourth digit 03 indicates modification alloy, not too much actual connotation;4. H means products that increase strength by working hardening;5, 24 in 2 said the work hardening and incomplete annealing state (i.e. the degree of work hardening than product requirements after incomplete annealing strength is reduced to the specified index products) 4 means O is intermediate state to the 8 state that value.
Q:Aluminum vs Wood?
I say go with wood. Aluminum bats just are not as safe. The ball comes off the bat with so much more speed, the reaction time for an infielder, pitcher, or someone in the stands is reduced and people don't always have time to react to the ball.
Q:Is it true that heated aluminum causes Alzheimer's?
They felt that used to be the case because of the aluminum seeping into the food. Hard to find an uncoated aluminum pot now. You get more aluminum from deodorants and antacids than cookware. You shouldn't though cook or store tomatoes in aluminum...and that's just the reaction in chemistry.
Q:How much is left of the element Aluminum?
As Vincent noted, aluminium is an abundant element in the earth's crust. It occurs in all clay minerals. Its main ore, bauxite(a mixture of aluminium hydroxides) is still available in vast deposits; particularly in Australia and South America. Aluminium is a reactive element, and so is not found in nature in the elemental form. Aluminium is a metal, and an amphoteric substance; that is; it reacts with both acids and bases.
Q:Aluminum advantages and disadvantages....?
