Q:I have a 2008 jeep wrangler, 4 door version. I‘ve noticed that when I‘m in 4 wheel drive, if I am going slowly and turning the wheel (usually in a parking lot, driveway, etc.), it feels like one wheel stops turning or something. The steering wheel actually starts to shake. It seems to work okay when I‘m driving straight. I can‘t tell with turns when driving faster but it seems to be okay. But there is a definite difference when driving like 1 to 7 miles per hour. Feels like it is having trouble going and the wheel shakes.I‘m a 4 wheel drive novice but our other vehicle (a large family type SUV) does not do this when in 4 wheel drive. Is this normal for a jeep? Any other issues I should check?
You are correct, every time you ride you will encounter some new situation. But the advice from the instructors is one to heed. If you over-brake in a corner you will be in trouble! Janice gave some good reasons and advice, as many did. Do not ride with the tip of your nose, ride with your eyes. 2-10 seconds is the minimum safe riding area you should be scanning constantly. Turns have blind areas, plus, obstacles: sand, gravel, metal, ect. These are some of the main reasons that you are told not to brake in corners. No matter how long or how skilled a rider is traction can be taken away at any moment, by a number of causes. It may take time to stand up your bike, but it will be able to stop faster(bigger tire footprint means more stopping power!) I took the MSF course after I had been riding for a time and I did it to save money on my insurance, but I have found traveling these ribbons of asphalt that the techniques and information passed along at these classes is time proven. Take everything they told you and apply it and you will probably ride for years without sudden impact, which is a very good thing indeed, Ride Safe and God Bless You-bty it will take sometime to understand motorcycles, but never stop respecting them!
Q:I just won an auction on OKorder for an Xbox 360 Wireless Steering wheel for a grand total of $64......its the new one with force feedback.....which seems like a really good deal (please tell me if its not)........Im not sure if there are any wires included in the auction though.....does this wheel need wires at all? if I need the wires does anyone know where to get them? Probably should have checked that but Oh well I can always sell it back
The wheel is connected wirelessly to the Xbox. However, the pedals are connected to the wheel with a wire. And there is a power adapter to plug into a wall outlet. If you don't use the power plug, then you only get rumble (if you insert a battery pack into the wheel). Force feedback will only work with the power adapter. After you got the wheel, remember to call Microsoft support (toll free number at the link below) and tell them the serial number of the wheel. A small batch of wheels can start to smoke if you connect them to the electrical outlet. Microsoft will retrofit the wheel if neccessary for free.
Q:Where there are manufacturers to produce walking wheels, and can be exported to Brazil, the quality is reliable.
Shanxi has a such a manufacturer, Shanxi Yong Xin forging is the production can be exported to Brazil
Q:Ride now im riding a 100 duro 52mm do you think it will be ok to go to a 101a 50 mm pig wheels ? or should i try and stay away from a wheel that hard and small?
101s have hardly any grip. id step down in A and stay at 52 i use 99s actually.
Q:When hes running on his wheel, he apparantly goes a little to fast and when he tries to slow down the wheel is still spinning, so he goes spinning around with the wheel till he is flung out onto the floor. He apparently doesnt learn, and gets right back up to run again.
Do not do as another poster suggested and remove the wheel. Hamsters NEED a wheel - in th wild they run 5+ miles a night. The wheel is the best substitute for that. Chances are our hamster can't actually build up enough speed to fling himself off hard enough to cause injury. It's probably more like a little kid purposely jumping off a swing over and over. If it appears that it's more than that, you could switch to a wheel with more of an enclosed design - woodent wheel is one manufacturer. Whatever you do, removing a wheel from a healthy hamsters cage would not be an appropiate course of action. Things like recovering from broken limbs and newborn pups are reasons not to have a wheel in the cage.
Q:its makeing a noise from the front lefti dont know if its a wheel bearing.i makes a rubbing/grinding sound eaven when your going 5mph or 50 mphwhat can it be.besides a wheel bearing?
your brakes mines did a whistle sound and if your rims are dirty and black its your brakes
Q:i really wanan know whats the difference, some people say rear wheel drives better, or front wheel drives for inexperienced drivers. I really wanna know whats the difference and whats better! lol coz my r33 skyline is rear wheel drive and i nearly lost it around the roundabout that last rainy day!!
Besides the obvious fact that your engine is powering the front wheels with one and the rear wheels with the other? rear wheel drive is considered better for sports cars and for racing. This is because you can actually use the power of the car to push the rear end of the car around when you are going around a sharp corner. In a front wheel drive car if you apply power going around a corner you will understeer or basicaly plow forward and not really turn. rear wheel drive is also better for drag racing as when you launch the car, the weight is shifted backwards and it pushes down on the back wheels giving you more traction. FWD cars have alot of trouble launching when they are drag racing because the weight is lifted off of the front wheels. With that said FWD is better in virtually all other circumstances. It's more stable and it's much harder to lose control with. The front wheels turn and pull in the same direction and the weight of the engine is also sitting on top of the front wheels which can give you better traction in the rain and snow. In short, rear wheel drive is better for racing and front wheel drive is better for normal driving conditions. Of course, you could have the best of both worlds and get all wheel drive :)
Q:I HAVE A 1997 SRAD WILL BUSA WHEELS FIT ON IT
They may look the same but use different bearings, axles, and would mount differently. Not going to fit.sorry
Q:Factory installed Alloy Wheels on a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL (with 10 spokes). Info on best type of brushes/clothes etc. would also help. Thanks!
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awC83 A lot of plumbers poke some bread down the pipe to soak up an residual water before they solder. Then, when the water is back on, the bread breaks down. I've never done that. However, if you have a problem soldering the joint you can visit your hardware store or plumbing supply and buy a compression fitting and a cap that will not require soldering.
Q:I need to get new tires and there is a make/model of my car with aluminum wheels and one without and I don‘t know the difference (yes, I‘m a girl!)
all meatals wave diffent masses and properties. unlike steel, aluminum is lighter. this means if the wheel is lighter it is alluminum and if it's heavier it is steel
