Q:So i have a 1991 honda accord LX. My car is perfectly aligned. but oddly my steering wheel is turened about 45 degrees to the left as drives straight and have no probles driving it what-so-ever. It has been in an accident before (only 1). Was hit on front passenger side, which left the wheel dented inward at the top. I was told i need to replace a few parts, and got a new hub bearing, steering knuckle, lower and upper control arm, and afterwards my tire was straight like it was before the only difference was the steering wheel. Could it be the whole steering gear that needs to be replaced? or the rack? what could the problem be?
First you have to find out if the steering wheel is off or the alignment here's how. Turn the wheel all the way to the left to full stop. Now turn it all the way to the right to full stop count the number of turns the steering wheel makes to go from full left to full right Turn the wheel left half the number of turns. At this halfway point the steering wheel should be centered. If it is and the wheels are not pointing straight it is the alignment. If the wheels are straight at this halfway point but the steering wheel is not the steering wheel needs to be removed and put back on where it belongs.
Q:i need to find a pottery wheel either to buy cheap or just to use
Windex + kleenex but be sure to not press too much on the screen and be sure the screen does not have any windex anymore
Q:Im looking for a off brand of cragar truck wheels in the nomad 2 315 series design in a 15x10 chevy 6 lug pattern. thank you
Is there any reason you need an off brand? Summit sells the exact wheels you are looking for, unless you want cheaper ones. If that's the case, check out US Wheel Series 75 at Summit.
Q:I brought my 2003 Kia Spectra into Pomp‘s tires for a wheel alignment, they called me 10 minutes after i dropped it off and told me i need a front left wheel bearing. My concern is my car doesn‘t make any unusual sounds, like grinding and squeaking. It also doesn‘t pull, but i do have a very slightest vibration. Whats the best way for me to check it out myself? The reason i brought into the shop is because i put brand new tires on the car less than 5000 miles ago, and the front 2 tires are completely bald on the inside But could 1 bad wheel bearing cause that?
Cut out the bad section and replace it with a compression coupling.
Q:I have a hedgehog, and i originally had a medium sized wheel but had to upgrade to a larger one because she was getting too big for it. Anyways, my problem is it is a Comfort Wheel and her cage is in my room and they are the NOISIEST wheels ever.It is terrible. I have had Silent Spinners before for other pets and they are much quieter, however they looked to me to be.i guess not wide enough for her? But since these are the only wheels I have seen at the pet store, i feel they are my only options. So is a silent spinner large size wheel a good wheel for hedgehogs? Also, has anybody ever used those flying saucer things? I was just wondering if those work well for hedgehogs and if that would be an option.Thanks.
You could try a normal metal mesh wheel and get some felt or material to cover the inside to protect their feet somehow.
Q:I want to put longboard wheels on my skateboard.just so i can cruisehow do i know what size to get? and what size risers i would need?
usually longboard wheels require different trucks for their wheelsi got an arbor cruiser that has ones that are made for 75 mm zig zag wheels but u can get cruiser types that are around 60 mm and up.i got some spitfire wheels which are like 63 mm i think that work with regular skateboards risers suck
Q:I have started the process of upgrading the wheels on my track and mountain bikes. Consequently, I want to learn to maintain them. Specifically I want to learn how to regrease and true them. I would prefer to to do this on a wheel that I won‘t need. I was considering scouring thrift shops and flea markets for a few old bicycle wheels and experimenting on those. My concern is that the wheels I aquire might be older and different than my upgraded wheels. Are they? Will they be so different that learning maintenence on them won‘t transfer to my new wheels? Is there a specific timeframe I should look for. My goal would be to get these practice wheels at the cheapest possible price.
sort of yes sort of no rims can vary carbon aluminum steel/chrome spokes can vary number pattern hubs can vary freewheel freehub i would say 60% would transfer you also need different tools for different hub types wle
Q:Just came back from the casino and noticed the consistency in the automated roulette wheel. When I mean automated, I don‘t mean the electronic wheel but a wheel where the ball is thrown by the machine. There was about 16 seconds between each throw and the ball comes out from the same spot and I‘m assuming at the same speed and etc. I was wondering is it possible to determine the general area where the ball will land depending on the previous result. Since everything is kept constant like the time between games and the path of the ball, I would think that theoretically the ball should generally lands about 10 - 20 numbers to the right of the previous result.
Maybe you've heard stories about biased wheels, and that some folks figured out ways to beat these wheels. I promise you that NO automated roulette wheel is going to be biased. In fact, no wheel that's been made in the past 15 years is going to be biased in any way. Try to beat roulette at your peril.
Q:How to install the bike wheel of the steel wire 10 I bored to BMX bike wheels of the 48 steel wire and the shaft opened, and later wanted to install it back to the original look. When the car is exercised, the wheels turn to the ground, I think Wheel shaft and wheel frame are not balanced.
This adjustment process is called the circle or the cage. Have technical content. The principle is, to the left, to tighten the right of the spokes, the wheels pulled right. To the right side, to tighten the left side. Radial, the axis is not on the center, the wheels tend to, you loosen the top of the spokes, tighten the lower spokes. Until the wheels are right.
Q:will older model stang wheels ( 15 inch) work without rubbing the disc brake caliper? bolt pattern?
It's difficult to say for sure for each and every possible wheel, but while Ford factory 15 wheels can be fitted to 99-04 GT's and V6's because of the size of their brakes, Ford never fitted any of the cars with the 13 PBR brakes (Cobras, Bullitts, and Machs) with anything smaller than 17's because they did not fit over the caliper. That being said, I know that some people wanting 15 drag wheels on the front of said cars have made some modifications to make it happen, for instance, spacing the wheel out away from the caliper and then grinding the caliper down some so that the wheel will fit, but I've never heard of a simple bolt-on solution for 15 wheels fitting over the 13 PBR brakes on a Mach 1. Good luck!
