Q:Will PSone power cable work on a ps2?
An original playstation one should, a PSone one wont tho. I had an old playstation one in my ps2 until my sons rabbit chewed thru it now I'm using a dreamcast one.
Q:How can I power on my hardrive without the main power cable?
Troll patrol a brilliant answer as far as humour goes. Your computer would normally have spare power leads in it in case you want to add other drives. if not then try taking one from your CD rom and plugging it to your hard drive. Only problem here is your system may boot from the cd rom.
Q:Is it possible to take 2 20-pin power supply cables and adapt them into 1 24-pin connector?
comput... repair las vegas
Q:Can PS3 FAT use any standard PC power cable?
YES, You can use a standard computer power cable for your PS3
Q:can the power cable of the dreamcast be used for the playstation 1?
if it can fit into you ps1 it going to work if it does not fit into you ps1 you are srwed or you can just go to game stop and ask them for a ps1 power cabl good luck dude i hope this wroks for you plz choose me as best answer i just need a litte bit more ponits until i get to lvl2
Q:Is it dangerous to touch double monitor cable when its on power?
The voltages and amperages going through the Monitor Cables are too low to be of any concern. If you actually stuck your tongue into a live one you'll get a jolt that may be painful...but it's not going to kill you. Touching it with your fingers won't do anything. However it might not be a bad idea to cover it with a little electrician's tape (don't go crazy) to keep it from picking up anything that could jam or bend the pins.
Q:Does Getting a Bigger Power Cable Get You Louder?
An 800w rms amp at full power would drop about 1/2 volt through a standard length of 4 awg wire, reducing the 800w to 771w. That same amp running through the same length of 8 awg wire would drop 1.2v, producing 726w. The audible difference would be virtually impossible to detect, and the gap would be smaller at a more moderate volume.
Q:The difference between the instrument cable and the low voltage power cable
Meaning the cross-sectional area of the wire, the unit is square mm; for example: 4 square copper wire, the cross-sectional area of the wire is 4 square millimeters, copper wire;
Q:Is it safe to jump a 12v power cable from one amp to another amp..help!!!?
it is safe...but not the best method it really depends on the guage of the wire....best to have a single large gauge running to a distribution block then a wire for each amp comming out of the block to were the amps are. blocks are fairly cheap (usually less than 20 bucks) and safer...plus you get better power flow and 1 amp is not sucking all the power before it gets to the other
Q:Cd player in car does not work no fuses we could find were blown except fuse from the power cable to sub amp?
did you check the car's fusebox? does the radio have a reset button somewhere ? does the head unit have a wire harness that plugs into the back of the unit itself? if it does maybe the harness melted and there is still a short in the wire or the wire melted somewhere between the head unit and your amp and is still shorted. you could simply unhook the remote wire from immediately behind the stereo and see if that helps edit *** also, i'm not sure if this is still true but most D.C. powered electronics like your cd player have a diode inside on the power wire. A diode will only let electricity run one way. What it does is basically if you where to say hook up you're stereo's power wire backward it would only burn up the diode (in theory). This may be what happened and would be pretty cheap to fix.
