Q:93' honda accord blower motor location?
Honda Accord Blower Motor
Q:i have an AC motor which have 2800 rpm but i need 1500 to 1800 rpm?
you can get tapered belt drives to do this,or electronic speed controllers ,little or no effect on the motor
Q:how can increase the speed of an ac motor?

Q:what are the diffences between a synchronous and induction motor?
A synchronous motor operates with a winding in its rotor which is connected to an external resistor for speed control during start-up, while an induction motor, squirrel caged type has no external resistor. The rotor windings are short-circuited at the ends and is like a squirrel. The speed of a synchronous motor has no slippage. 2,poles-3600 rpm; 4-poles-1800 rpm; 6poles-1200 rpm while an induction motor has a slip speed, 2poles- 3540 rpm; 4 poles-1750 rpm; 6poles-1150 rpm.A synchronous motor always operates with carbon brushes, while induction motors may have none.Synchronous motors are usually rated at least 100Hp, while, induction motors may be rated in fractional Hp.
Q:Is permanent magnet synchronous motor AC servo motor?
NoPermanent magnet synchronous motor rotor is a permanent magnet, stator coil, often used as generator or collection of speed signals.AC servo motor is a kind of motor that can be accurately located.
Q:i have a motor that need to be test with dc current please help!!!!!!?
AC voltage alternates polarity 60 (50 in Europe) times a second, meaning the AC current changes direction that often. Only AC is good for transformers, and AC motors tend to be more efficient and constant speed. You just need to know what DC voltage you need for the motor. If it's 12 volts, most people will just use a car battery for a source. You can hook batteries in series for higher voltage. You can also buy power supplies that turn AC into different DC voltages.
Q:Ac motor replacement ?
If you can spin the fan motor blower and it spins freely. I suspect that the start capacitor had failed. It the silver thing on the side of the blower housing with the two wires in it. You have to take it out and get the numbers off the side of it. MFD rating and Volts. Take it to any place that sells electric stuff. Not lowes. Or order one online. Its a cheap part. And it not rocket science to change out. Make sure power is off when working ; Its does not matter what wire goes on what terminal on the new capacitor. That where I would start. You have to remove the furnace cover to gain access to the part.
Q:Will a DC shunt motor operated on an AC supply?
DC motor cannot run on AC source. It just stands still. But you may change the winding connection to form a series motor that can be run on both DC or AC power source.
Q:DC motor speed control performance is very good, why do we need AC motor?
AC motor: a machine used to convert mechanical energy and alternating current energy. AC motor has become the most common motor because of the great development of AC power system. Compared to the AC motor and DC motor, because there is no commutator (see DC motor commutation), therefore has the advantages of simple structure, convenient manufacture, relatively strong, easy to make high speed motor, high voltage, high current, large capacity. The coverage of AC motor power greatly, from a few watts to several 101000 watts, even millions of kilowatts.
Q:How to ac motor work?
The motor uses the electricity to make temporary electromagnets. There is a ring of these magnets around the case of the motor, there are some on the rotor, the part that spins. The motor supplies power to one of the magnets around the case also to one of the magnets on the rotor. The two magnets are now attracted to each other, the magnetic power pulls the rotor towards the case magnet. Before it gets to the point that the two magnets are lined-up, it turns the case magnet off switches power to the next case magnet, that is just a bit further away. The magnet on the rotor is now attracted to the next one, the rotor is pulled around a bit further. The motor then switches the power to the magnet that's next around the case, the rotor continues to turn to try get the magnets to line-up. It's a bit more complex then that, but that should give you the general idea.
