- I think shags are in style again. I saw on HGTV the decorator put a brand spanking new shag rug in an apartment. Love your shag rug! Go native with safari-feel khaki or sand colored walls, heavy dark accessories, and plenty of lighter tan colors to balance such as pillows, etc. Chocolate curtains with tan sheers in between. That's what I see for your room. Be sure and put in a great big green plant or two. Don't get so jungle-y that it looks artificial, but do hang an old looking world map on one wall and maybe a nice little jute or other sisal rug under your coffee table to define your conversation area. Don't forget a few punches of bold color such as red in some of your accessories and a few of your pillows. Think of parrots, bright and bold. sounds like fun to me!!

- Q:The canister filter on (specifically, directly under) my 55 gallon sprung a leak, and in total has leaked 20+ gallons of nitrate-laden water onto the carpet around the stand. - Q:Always been as natural as possible with my horses inc rugging, deciding if it's time to rug my old guy (I say old but he's 18 which isn't that old I know!). He's a warmblood, 18yrs used now as a pleasure/trail horse. - I live in Queensland, (gold coast). as well and i have always rugged my horses. Specialy in winter. It has been so cold lately and i think we are in for the coldest winter in a long time. Remember the cold may affect his joints just like in us humans they get stiff etc. So maybe joint supplement aswell. But i would think that you should rug him this winter. EDIT** Haha geez we live close. i live in mudgeeraba lol. Yes if the sheet is wetthrough take it off otherwise its just going to make him extra cold having a wet rug on. im going to be doing the same thing as my winter rugs broke and i gotta get them fixed.

- yes it is a great carpet and they stand behind it. l would always be concerned about light colours in high traffic areas and if you have chosen pile in high traffic areas...this will quickly be matted and will show dirt, regardless of the stain resistance...you must vacuum, preferably every day...because the dirt will go down to the base of the carpet and wear it out.

- The rug in the photo is made from wool. If you have pets in your home, wool is not a good choice as the pet will mark the rug with urine, numerous times if given the chance. They can sense another animal close by, in this case sheep, and will ruin the rug. As a pro carpet cleaner, I've seen this happen a million times. If you want a less expensive, plush rug, look for one made from Nylon. To save money, pick out a remnant at a carpet store, and have them or some one they know, sew a border around the perimeter.
