Description

Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of ferrum and silicon. Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is made by electric furnace. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Application

1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.

2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.

4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Q:Thier are alot of different types of metal music. Death metal, Glam metal, punk mental, ans so one. Can you name all the types?
Black metal vs. Death metal, winner: don't care Symphonic metal vs. Progressive metal, winner: probably symphonic Folk metal vs. Viking metal, winner: they're both awesome! Heavy metal vs. Thrash metal, winner: maybe heavy Nu metal vs. Rap metal, winner: Nu Melodic death metal vs. Alternative metal, winner: alternative, MAYBE melodic death favourite bands: too many to list...
Q:I have played only Metal Gear Solid:3 ..... can anyone tell me all of the names of Metal Gear Solid Series?
And what about mainstream heavy metal? Or non-mainstream rock? Why would you compare those two? If you're going to base it on the mainstream for one genre, do the same for both. People who hate bands just because they're mainstream are exactly the same as the people who only listen to what's popular.
Q:Any grand metal bands, that are active, and would fit these particular genres: deathcore, death metal, groove metal, metalcore, nu metal, thrash metal. I'll comment on best answer????. Headbanger's roll!
I'd say that two eras stand out for me: 1979-1986, when the rules were being written and torn up over and over, seemingly overnight. Iron Maiden, Savatage, Bathory, Queensryche, Metallica, Megadeth, Witchfinder General, Trouble, Fates Warning, Voivod, Celtic Frost, Motorhead, Possessed. Think about any major form of metal and chances are that it began and/or crystallized in this period: NWOBHM, power, prog, doom, death, black, you name it. 1992-98: the underground's extreme metal was pushing the envelope in all kinds of new, forward-thinking, fabulously innovative ways: Tiamat, Sentenced, The Gathering, Anathema, Dissection, Entombed, Opeth, Cynic, Emperor, Borknagar, My Dying Bride, At the Gates, In Flames, all paving the way for the current era's acceptance of more aggressive forms of the artform.
Q:i read somewhere, that there are higher concentrations of metals in soil near high volume traffic. How does the metal get there?
Generally metal reflect microwaves and in older models this can cause damage to the magnetron. My microwave is perfectly happy with metal in it, and even came with a metal tray and a pair of metal racks for use inside it. Neither ever spark. You can get sparks from poorly connected pieces of metal in a microwave. This most often occurs with things like metal trim or even metal paint.
Q:My favs:Proggressive Metal:-Mastodon-Baroness- Dream TheatreThrash Metal-Kreator-Slayer-Overkill-MegadethDeath Metal- Kataklysm- Dying Fetus - Morbid Angel- Death- NecrophagistBlack Metal- Darkthrone-Mayhem-Burzum- GorgorothHeavy Metal-Judas Priest- Iced Earth - Iron Maiden

Q:I was kind of confuzzed about the differences between these genres! You don't have to explain every single one of them but just the ones that you know! * 1 Alternative metal * 2 Avant-garde metal * 3 Black metal * 4 Christian metal * 5 Crust punk * 6 Death metal * 7 Doom metal * 8 Drone metal * 9 Extreme metal * 10 Folk metal * 11 Funk metal * 12 Glam metal * 13 Gothic metal * 14 Grindcore * 15 Groove metal * 16 Industrial metal * 17 Metalcore * 18 Melodic death metal * 19 Neo-classical metal * 20 Nintendocore * 21 Nu metal * 22 Post-metal * 23 Power metal * 24 Progressive metal * 25 Rap metal * 26 Sludge metal * 27 Southern Metal * 28 Speed metal * 29 Stoner metal * 30 Symphonic metal * 31 Technical death metal * 32 Thrash metal * 33 Traditional heavy metal * 34 Viking metal
I often think along these lines, but to my knowledge nobody has taken this seriously. Bon Jovi did the soundtrack for Young Guns II, and it had what was then considered a metal sound. Now a bunch of that stuff is just considered hard rock. So even if someone were to do it, they would run into a boundary dispute of what is metal and what is hard rock. Looking on what is now considered country music from the perspective of a child of the 80s, it looks like a lot of the current country is at least as heavy as the hard rock of the 80s.
Q:You can name more than one band if you want to, just don't make it extensive...And it doesn't have to be a favorite, just a band you enjoy listening from each sub-genre. (I might be missing some sub-genres, you can add if you want to).I'll start:Progressive Metal: Dream TheaterDoom Metal: While Heaven WeptBlack Metal: AgallochThrash Metal: Vio-LenceDeath Metal: PossessedGlam Metal: Motley CruePost-Metal: CallistoSludge Metal: BaronessStoner Metal: Electric WizardPower Metal: HelloweenGothic Metal: Virgin BlackSymphonic Metal: HaggardMetalcore: Misery SignalsBQ: Favorite band out of your list?BQ2: What do you think Y!A needs more of?BQ3: cow______.
I'm sorry about your little cousin being in the hospital, but please homeschoolers do have materials and ways to learn what they should be learning and even more. They become very prepared people if they just do their job as they should! Please try to read you classes and understand what they're saying! If you don't try and just put the answer someone else gave you in the internet, you'll not learn and you'll need this later on in life! Try, you can do it! :) P.S. Hope your cousin gets better!
Q:there are metals such as silicon that semi-cunduct, and there are metals that just cunduct such as copper.well, what makes a metal semi-cunduct and just cunduct.how does it work in a semi- cunducter that it generated electricaty? i am looking for particular metals that u find easally. perhaps i made the last question one too broad. thks.
Tungsten carbide is the hardest metal known to man. osmium is the heaviest
Q:Since it's metalcore mixed with death metal, can we call it metal rather than hardcore?
Why do u think the metal section is at the back of all music stores. And the edward and jacob cut outs are up front with the gaga? Metal is definatley not mainstream and by nature I don't think the artist would want it to be. Name two metal bands played on mtv or radio
Q:Can you recommend me some good Black Metal bands that do not feature a lot of satanic/anti-Christian lyrics. Please don't write Unblack Metal bands because i am already into Unblack Metal.
